Looks to me like a major housecleaning, or remodel, with notable voids.
Nature abhors a vacuum. We will see what fills it. Probably much the same as it was before, but lacking some familiar faces and a significant trove of historical content.
Though I doubt it was intentional, to some degree, CMAC and RJ will get what they were wanting for quite some time. The active enforcement of photo posting restrictions will probably exert a positive force in the direction of climbing content, at least for a while.
