Stella Artois. Another hipster beer.

But in Belgium, it's basically the equivalent of Bud. Cheap, and drunk by the gallon at sporting events.

Stella is more caloric than it would seem too. Ive always thought it was alright. Nothing more. Far better than a Heineken.

I don't understand why anyone drinks most any of the aforementioned swill.

If I was faced with most of the above choices, I'd figure out a way to get what I really like. Or skip it altogether.

Coors is a wonderful sports beverage. Even the worst beer can taste delicious when presented at the right moment. If I was hiking out of somewhere, all hot and tired and someone came up at me with an ice cold michelob ultra, Id drink that sucker right down with a smile on my face. And Id want another.

I had my nose turned up at the macrobrews for the longest time. But If someone blind tested you with macros and micros of the same sort of lager and pilsner variety, you might be surprised and even embarrassed. I was surprised at the outcome of the reintroduction and instantly sold. Macro has its place :)

Making a consistent Pilsner is really, really hard. There's nowhere to hide! I'll drink some of that swill, and often prefer a bud, PBR, Tecate etc. on a hot day. I'm not snobby about it, but I cannot take Corona. I'll just have water, thanks.

That first sip of SNPA sometimes stops me in my tracks with how much I like it. Tastes vary, and that's a good thing, but to me, it's god damned delicious.

Pliny is alright, but I wish those Russian River retards would pronounce the guy's name right. Drives me bananas.

Up here in The Great White North, Miller Genuine Draft is marketed and actually sold at a higher price. It tastes the same - crappy! - as it does in the states.

I got a thirty box once for the wall. Never again! That crap is so fizzy, you open it warm and half of it boils over on your ledge. Blech.

Sierra nevada green label is a mainstay of mine I say. Theyre making some great beers these days, though this years beer camp was a bit of a letdown for me. Celebration ale this year is better than ever, fresh hopped. Im a bit of a sierra nevada addict and have been for 20+ years. Its good.

I remember when MGD first came out, along with bud dry....blech to both and agreed on the bubbles.

Speaking of bubbles, Rolling Rock is something I've never quite understood. It was CHEAP in college though.
