Bud and coors are both delicious in their own idiom. Blue moon needs to die off. Fat tire is also bland and beige. Shock top, lingenflugelendorf or whatever can also go down the drain. Sam adams standard, blah...oktoberfest is tasty from them though.

you know the old joke about coors (or fill-in-the-blank), right?

how is coors like having sex in a canoe? it's f** too close to water for me

but on a hot, hot, hot summer day an ice-cold domestic (bud, etc.) goes down nicely

for everyday, i like sam adams (especially their octoberfest and winter lager); for flavor, give me a left-hand milk stout; avery's ellie's nut brown ale; rogue's hazelnut nectar

With very few exceptions, the only bad beer is no beer. Deep in the heart of Kansas on a solo coast-to-coast epic tour, I once drank Bud Light, and I was happy to get it. It was refreshing given the heat/humidity, and I drank two 24 oz's with no buzz effect! Boy, that stuff is almost water. Still, better than no beer, fo' reelz.

All I have to add is that Bud's market share if finally settling the direction towards where I'd expected it to be all along. Proving that I'm an idiot for believing that people (in general) are not idiots or have any taste at all. A chart of the top beers in the USA confirms that again.

I'd propose an alternative name for this chart I linked - "BEER WHICH WHEN WARM TASTES LIKE PEE".

PBR is the absolute most overrated rotgut outside of old e and the like. People drink that sh#t up because its so hipster-chic. It tastes like sh#t, is too bubbly, and leaves my stomach not happy.

Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.

There, I said it. Still doesn't stop me from drinking it by the crate, though.

I saw a piece on Bloomberg news a short while ago about the craft beer industry- they said that in spite of the boom of craft beers in recent years, such beer sales still only make up about 5% of the total sales in the country.

Proof that, no matter how advanced the potential of this society, the majority will prefer to live in their familiar squalor.

Add firestone DBA. Otherwise firestone makes some damn fine beers.

Gotta love to hate sierra nevada green label. I love it, always tasty and tastes the same out of a can. So many good beers turn to sh#t when put in a can. Sucks, because I love me some cans.

Coors is way underrated IMHO, banquet coors, not coors light. Big difference in taste. Someone will slip one to you one day out of its can and you'll like it;)

No - there really was a beer named Big Brown Jugs

There was a club at one time called the Low Brew Society - I wonder
