i thought it was an aftermath pic taken following a recent swallowing yer tongue incident (secondary to rhyming poetic during luv making...).
edit: "swallowing yer tongue incident..." -- see his last poem.
weeg's pic is a better "selfie" pic, per se! capturing a candid and spontaneous moment.
and, as far as the term "Selfie" goes, i'm not particularly fond of that term either. who gives a f*#k who took yer damn pic. plus...sounds more like a solo "luv making" term, imo!

"selfie" is a term.
"SPLITTER WEATHER BRO" etc, is an expression incorporating a term. in this case, a colloquialism "splitter".
but, i agree with your drift...many such expressions are simply played out and lacking.
imho, "selfie" is simply an extremely lame term. plus, it's also used not only as a picture taken of oneself, but for example, as a "selfie quote", etc! ...yuk.

i must say, stirs the imagination. and a hard post to follow, but...
nothing wrong with taking pics of oneself and posting them. it's just the term itself, especially if a male uses it in that vernacular (as a self pic)imo! in that case, it's kind of pussy-whipped! like letting your wife, girlfriend, or significant other call you poopsie in public, "Here's a selfie of me, Poopsie, and friends during a group hug." ...just saying.
edit: what's happening to ST? i can't imagine Harding, Rowell, Frost (or whomever) captioning a photo, "a selfie of me and the boy's". sheesh
