It's hard to see but if you look in the upper right of the border it reads -84* f. I imagine it is not working properly but still...Brrrrrrrrrrr.

The high at the ranch yesterday was a roaring minus 3 degrees after an overnight low of minus 23. Not a whole lot of snow involved...maybe 3 to 5 inches. Thankfully the wind isn't blowing!

Hi Ekat, I thought you'd be skeezin on the Big today. I'd be there but my knee hates me. The top chairs are closed due to the chill factor, but they might open them this afternoon.

Be careful out there.

Be careful out there. I was shoveling snow with multiple layers on and felt warm at the time but when I got inside I discovered that I was chilled to the bone and it took hours to warm up. I could really use my expedition gear and my Sherpa clothes right now but they're all in Okinawa still where the temp is 70 in the day and 60 at night. Go figure!

Single digits in Boulder the last few days. My shop has a decent heater, but I have a very complex glue-up early next week and the glue requires a steady working temp of 70 degrees. I'll probably hit Target to buy an electric blanket to throw over the whole kit-and-caboodle when the time comes for some cheap insurance.

My son is camping in the back yard to test his new tent and sleeping bag. Minus fifteen when he went to bed and it is all the way up to minus thirteen now.
