It's 78F here and we have the A/C on.
Tomorrow night it's suppose to be 62F, might have to dig a sweater out of storage to get by.

Jumped on my bike in SF at 6:24 am to meet up for a fast group ride at 7:15 in Mill Valley.

This was the temp when I arrived:

Amazingly Monrovia, the California iteration, is projected to be only about
10 degrees warmer than Bearflanks! But then people in Yakut look at Bearflanks
like Bearflankers look at Hawaii.

A Montana company named Duckboy has long amused me with their line of postcards about the plight of us-folks in the Northern Rockies.

Here's a link to their website for postcards, but they also do other products with their amusing photos too.

And here's an uncredited internet image on this subject.

The high in Longmont, Colorado was 5 degrees today. The cold doesn't bother me but the short days are hard to get used to after 12 hour days in the tropics.

Coldest that I ever saw here in 38 years was in '90 when it hit 17 (this is the banana belt of Utah).

This morning it was 12.

Gorge ice is coming in. Too bad I'm laid up recovering from my surgery.
Here is a pic of Crown Jewel from today.
Makes my palms sweaty. How inconvenient.
It's OK. I'll be healed up for Hyalite at the end of the month.

Not bad at the Gunks, though it has been raining all day, and is now sleeting quite heavily, with temps to go down to 29tonight. Not good driving weather.

Tomorrow should be sunny and up to 39. I hope so, as I need to walk to town for the post office.
