Kinda hard to make an offer to you with the way this is going, man....have no idea what you want for the stuff or what has been offered. Still interested, let's talk dollars if you want to sell.

agreed. what's the status?
best practice on stuff like this is either clear terms in the OP, or very transparent posts in the thread.

Best practice IMO would have been to put it on ebay. If you got a week to unload it and it basically is an auction why not spare yourself all of the PM's and let everybody see what everybody else's bids are. But hey, to each his own.

Agreed that this format is frustrating and a little stressful but it's his choice.
I think it's great that he is offering the chance to buy these items to this community instead of going elsewhere as you suggested.
Just get onboard or don't...but pressuring him is not what he deserves as he's trying to work with us here on ST.

Thank you. The whole idea was to offer it to everyone on ST instead of the world via eBay. I'm trying to compile offers now, and will list on the board current offers on the gear. Thanks

Bri, can I assume that there are no tie bids, and that if we recognize our bid amount that the currently highest bid is ours in the above post?
How many rounds of posting do you want to do? When will bidding end?
Can I use a "buy it now" approach so that I don't lose my bid if someone out bids me by a small increment today, and I don't happen to catch it later today? What amount is 'buy it now'?
thx,
M

Hey Munge,
Those prices are all top bidders, no ties. Also, if someone bids more I will inform them that they have been out bid via email, to keep everyone in the loop. I'm not trying to surprise anyone, I'm trying to make it more transparent to make (hopefully) everyone happy.

SOLD the lot. I got a fair offer for the lot and took it. Sorry for anyone that had offers out there on individual items. I will delete this thread shortly

Sorry ST - I did the best I could to resist but ultimately my desire to further my collection motivated me to make an offer on the whole lot that was hard to refuse.
If it softens the news.....these will be preserved in a museum later down the road for everyone to see and experience.
