Ron, that was me. Yeah - it was good company and conversations all day. Was disappointed I had to cut it short too - bet the evening festivities would have made good video. Did a short from the morning seminars (Climb Smart 2011 - Part 1):

and one of the afternoon seminars (Climb Smart 2011 - Part 3)

The youtube of her in Hueco Tanks is amazing. I've never seen a guy dance up the rock with such ease and grace.

We were the last party to top out on the Nose before her free-in-a-day ascent, September 1994, on the same day. Kind of an interesting dichotomy. One of the most aided ascents ever followed immediately by a completely free ascent.

I was lucky enough to be in the same place at the same time as Lynn a few times. She is a wonderful person and a real hero to the climbing world...

I saw Lynn do her thing once, we were working on Rude boys at Smith Rocks, And she showed up and flashed it. That was twenty years or so ago. Man! And she is still going strong .

Studley.... almost correct:

In my opinion, the worlds greatest athlete ever.

I fixxed it for you.

I thought at one time she demanded to compete with the Men, for the top prize money, but the international sport climbing federation nixed that one.

Lynn is one of the nicest people I have ever known.

Happy new year to you Lynn, hope to see you in 2012.

Lynn loves to share a laugh and takes every excuse offered to have a great time. She is always being encouraging and supportive of others and not just about climbing. I am blessed to know her and not because she is The Great Lynn Hill of Incredible Climbing Feats... I am blessed to know her because she is simply a great person period. She never had to climb hard to be that.
