We all love the first lady of free climbing. She makes hard routes look like just a bit of a dance.

Whenever Lynn Hill is mentioned I always remember how very tiny her shoes were, after seeing the pair she climbed the nose with in Ken's museum,,,,
We are talking seriously small.

The Nose all free in a day is one of the best posters ever. I have never known Lynn Hill and never will, but to me across the ocean she is an icon of climbing, just as Emmylou Harris is an icon of music.

And to me "It goes boys" are the words of Lynn Hill whatever better informed souls should say.

And I hope she will never in her life try to live up to the icon status. I know I am seeing the world through biased filters, but in this case it doesn't change a thing.

Lynnie is great. She just wants to climb, just like the rest of us. She is friendly and down to earth and seems to be enjoying life.

Anyone else see the related column film to the one posted above?

Lynn Hill, Largo various others 1980 complete with 80's elevator music and ridiculous commentary. Kinda funny but interesting.
