Well Richie,

You're RR TR was worthy of much more praise than I gave it--but I did my humble best. ;-)

Like Fritz, you have a beautiful way with subtle humor in your writing, so while the photos were utterly delectible...the writing just pulled me in and had me searching for more at the end. Such a joy to read, seriously.

And always looking for more...;-)

if the stone didn't crack there'd be no natural passage.
then all could tread.

and there would be no distinction between hero and villian.

L, would agree. i think.

L stands for LOVE.

awww - that's so cute.

Besides - isn't she FEMALE?

If so - we could use more of them around this sausage fest - might calm down the natives and make them act civilized.

L is the best. I had the pleasure of meeting her at Widefest last year and immediately knew she was quality people.

Love ya L!! Don't let the haters bring you down. Anyone who has met you in person knows how awesome you are!

you look around and find all about.

minutia that rules your peers. why? does not factor, but, instead, how much?

then you stumble. log onto supertopo. and there is,

L, to hold your hand to neverland.

Thanks Beth! You're the best! Hope you got a chance to read Edzilla...and aren't disappointed that I didn't turn you into a guy, too! ;-)

Weege...you can write poetry whenever and wherever you want as far as I'm concerned. You're writing is magical.

And thank you, Jim! Looking forward to meeting you in person, too. You...like the awesome Jello & Chiloe...know what truly living, and living truly, is all about.

Glad you liked the story...now just remember: Those photos are fake. ;-)))

hey there L, say.... i had just seen someone mention it here... i have been off line, a few days (not as bad, as they said it would be, as to supposedly late check--thought it would have made it, but didnt, i reckon)....

L:
Chiloe hardly posted anymore--I haven't seen a TR from him in ages

Well this only partly reflects Chiloe's disgruntlement at the scrappy state of the Taco.
It also reflects his regrettable lack of T's to R about.
Last actual climbing experiences were late-fall ascents with JimE and emac on Whitehorse,

or with our remarkable Tarbuster at Rincon,

Since then, not a climb.
There have been a few wonderful walks,

but most of the time lately, Chiloe stares at this kind of view:

Which explains why he's spent too much energy draggin' the Taco off topic by making irritable posts
on that global warming thread.
