WBraun! Per your remark: St00pid gross materialists chasing a st00pid little leather ball ..... :-)
Exactly Correct! And it teaches those lads teamwork, gives them a sense of self-worth, & how to take orders, & how to cheat, & inflict injury on other humans too.
The all-American sport!
(who you watching?)

Who am I watching? I watch whoever is playing.
I love football and played a ton of pickup games for many years.
Quarterback and wideout (wide receiver) cause I had the speed to outrun them, I was a sprinter in track and field.
I'm a st00pid gross materialist ..... :-)

GO NAVY! An impressive win. A salute to Army's great win. I always
love to watch the academy games cause you see smart, disciplined young
men usually displaying admirable sportsmanship. That said I saw a little
too much showboating by some midshipmen today. Just play the damn game!
Fritz, I'll actually be rooting for the Cougs, but don't spread it around.
Stanford should have no probs tonite.
Dawgs are gonna chew on Penn State!

WBraun! Thanks for your participation.
At halftime & soon after, I'm mostly watching Stanford, since they are looking good against C.U.N.T.
WSU is missing their PAC12 all-time passing yards leader Luke Falk, due to a hand injury, & is hard to enjoy. MSU looks like an easy winner.
However, WSU came back from a 21 point 4th quarter deficit to Boise this fall, & likely due to direct divine intervention, won in overtime.

Sigh.
All is now sadness in PAC12-ville. Both WSU & Stanford lost tonight.
That's 1 win to 5 losses in holiday 2017 bowl games for the PAC12.
Sigh.

It was noted last night by the commentators that TCU had never lost a bowl game with a PAC-12 team. Checking stats this morning, I find they have only played 3 bowl games with PAC-12 teams, but yep, they've won them all.
TCU seems to do much better in bowl games with Left Coast teams, than in other bowl games. Their record is only 1 win in 3 bowl games against Boise.

I'm not too sure about that. When he has had any time he has been impressive.
He has the best arm in the college game that I've seen in a couple years.
He's also got surprising speed of foot.

I am watching (hated) USC losing vs (hated) Ohio State.
After this game, the PAC-12 will be 1 win for 7 losses in bowl games this winter.
Can Washington win one for the PAC-12 team?

Dawgs are gonna need to start stronger than they did most of this season. Coach Pete is
gonna have to dig into his old BSU Trick Playbook too.
Couldn’t believe how the Stanford D caved last night. They didn’t cave against us but then we
didn’t change anything in our game plan, just like in our other loss to that average, if inspired,
lot from AZ. Peterson got way too conservative and predictable when he moved to Seattle.

Ha! Not exactly. I didn’t see the second half but they were clearly out-played and out-coached.
Pac12 1-8! At least Washington made a game of it.

Sigh for Washington & a big sigh for the PAC-12.
from ESPN:
The Pac-12 finished 1-8 in bowl games, which is the worst single-season bowl record in history for a Power 5 conference (minimum five games). The previous worst was the Big Ten in 2008, which went 1-6, according to ESPN Stats and Information. Utah, which beat West Virginia 30-14, was the only school to register a win.
I watched the last quarter of the WA/Penn State game with a heavy heart.
Damn if Washington didn't make a game of it, with some Coach Pete trickery on the last play, as time ran out.
Sigh.

Niners actually look good even if they’re playing the Rams’ subs.
Garoppolo has a gun for sure. Pats were stoopid to let him go.
Wow! That cheap shot on Goodwin was the worst I’ve seen in a while.
Countess should get an 8 game suspension. There’s no excuse.

well we'll see, certainly JimmyG makes it interesting to watch football again for some reason. It's great for him to get a chance, and the 49ers have a lot of talented young players, and some serious room to deal this year.
If it works out and Garappolo improves on his craft it will be interesting to watch a Pats v. 49ers SuperBowl in the next few years (the Pats win, of course).
