As a lifelong Pats fan I think Brady should go out on a big win like this. Or, does he think he could do it again next year? His call, since he is the greatest quarterback of all time.
That was the greatest football game I've watched since the Pats win over Oakland in the snow in '01 (I think it was '01, it's been a while).

Longest offseason ever for us Pats fans. Almost over.
The more I learn about football the more I realize I don't know. I guess that makes sense with a game that grew out of a free for all and had various rules added from many people over the years to make it safer. It's opened up so many strategies in all phases of the game. For an analytical and strategical guy like me it's a never ending source of fascination.
I've coached both my sons in flag football and I've just scratched the surface.

oh cry me a river.... Pats fans had a long offseason.
Go Chiefs!
My 'hawks just got a lot better on the D-line. Sheldon Anderson with Bennett and Avril and Clark. Feel the pain!

There is going to be some epic debauchery going on with those guys in Vegas. total distraction, that is why all the owners gave the thumbs up.

Schooled? The Pats' offense seemed to have sat out the last quarter, even though the Chiefs were dead set on losing the game from stupid penalties like running into the kicker TWICE IN A ROW, fer Chrissakes.
The worst showing of Pats' defense EVER by a Belichick team.
But Alex "First Round" Smith looked unshakable.
"Bring it on, AFC West."

Good game. Even though I'm a pats fan I'd rather have a competitive game (for 3 Qs anyway) than a boring blow out.
I'm glad Chiefs RB Hunt overcame fumble and had a good game.
49ers looking dumb for getting rid of Smith for Kap.

How about that game, huh? 11 minutes of action in only 4 hours! That's excitement!

Yeah, Gare, TV has sullied the game, but that was a proud effort by the Chiefs in a rather unfriendly house!

Tad, 'member when OJ sat on the Niners' bench for two years?
The dark days of Joe "Don't Know Football" Thomas?
Before the sainted Bill Walsh came to clean the Augean Stables?
And how, after those glory days, Trent Dilfer...aw, it's all happening again, huh.
Reilly, the late-game shot of an almost empty Pats' house was stunning.

And KC was so confident in Smith that they spent draft picks to trade up to the #10 spot to get his replacement.
I generally enjoy watch Brady play but that beat down was a thing of beauty, penalties and all. (The injuries to both teams sucks, though.)
On to Cincinnati part deux...

Speculation about trading Alex Smith is and has been rife; but the chips were down and he came through. He's a bit long-toothed, but he still has a great career ahead of him if he stays injury-free.
He had a chance to take it all in 2011 and 2012 with the 49ers and might have but for fickle fate in the form of missed FGs, etc.

Raiders looked good! Nice execution on crucial high yardage 3rd down plays, great presence from Derek Carr and big kudos to Georgio Travecchio for kicking some field goal ass. Thanks to Marshawn for adding an additional layer of badassness to the Raider offense . . . look out kids, this guy is gonna show 'em how it's done. Apostrophe and all . . . go silver and black.

Ah, Dallas. Weak offensive line and weaker defense. Jones is making money hand over fist but can't put together a winning team.

OK Reilly & U of Washington fans!
WSU faces U of W. in Seattle in two weeks, with the Northern Division Pac 12 Championship on the line.
WSU, # 15/16 in the football rankings, at 9 - 2, gets two weeks off to rest up for their annual cross-state "hate-fest" with 8 - 2 U of W, #16/15 in the rankings.
Washington has to play Utah this weekend, which WSU just beat nicely & well.
Usually, the team that has the most reasons to hate the other team, beats their hated rival in this classic game.
That would be WSU, or not.

Fritz, you hit the nail right on the head! Add in the complexity of being a Cal Bears fan, and and ... ... a lack of fondness for Stanford. So, the only probably way Stanford will not win the Pac12 north is if the Cougars beat Huskies. Where does that leave me?
