mate,
its not obvious from the ground, but the upper third of the route is easily protectable. There is a green alien size crack running clear to the top. you have to move back into the chimney to find it, instead of staying on the sunny edge. i climbed it on a cloudy, low light day and i found the pro without assistance from a headlamp.

a week has passed since i sent the bolters and email explaining the community strife regarding the bolts, and i've received no reply.

we, the jerry deem the non-response justification for complete and gentle removal of the bolts.

and bolters, as i stated in my correspondance to you, kindly leave the cracks boltless.

thanks,
chuck

What kind of relations do the climbers around Route 50 have with the Forest Service? That could become really important if this gets too far out of hand.

So ......

268 rants about some choss pile chimney bolt hack.

This proves rock climbers have started a new religion years ago.

They worship a rock ......

Well then WES-

What did the said bolters say?

Please share this privileged information, since you care so much as to contact them about the bolting on the "Pile".

no sir.
thank you for holding me accountable.

i've not much time and a debilitating drinking interest.
i will get to it though, good to my word and upholding the wishes of what appears to be community majority.
