MS is still there. Although Henny doesn't think so. One of the best climbs at woodson. If you have it wired with the stacking, try to do it with arm bars.

People keep trying to tell me there's something down there. But every time I try to see it, no matter how hard I look...
There's nothing down there.
Move along, move along.

You know Darrell, the top part of MS has your name on it big time! Overhanging face with a thin topout, really good! I know it isn't you but you should TR the upper section just for it's movement (in total stealth mode of course)! Then again, being the very technically minded person that you already are, with the stacking involved and the knee locks, which are sooooo solid (the guys on widefetish.com call the wide section 5.8+), you'd love the mechanics on this thing and learn it quickly I'm sure! Remember what you said about Phd? You'll be asking yourself the same question, "Why'd I wait so long to get on this thing!"

I never saw it even though I had walked by it dozens of times. Rick P. is the one who showed it to me.

Henny I'd be honored to belay you on that super easy crack climb. I'll even give you some arm baring tips to help you get started. (I don't think chicken legs would be big enough to help in stacking)

See Darrell? It's not even a crack climb, it's a "carck" climb so now there's no excuse!

LOL! For the heck of it I just googled "carck" and this is what came up:
"carck - 1 definition - someone who can't spell crack due to the fact they are on it."

illusiondweller- "I don't know why I shared this story..."
bvd- "WTF"
Early one morning(4AM)I was awakened to the loud boom-boom-boom of what I suspected was someone about to bust my door down. As it turned out, the fire dept. was bustin open the door of a neighbors condo directly across from me, as smoke poured out his windows. I had a birds eye view. They pulled him out and began resuscitation efforts. After 10-15 min. I went back inside, my mind racing. I dozed off and awoke about 45-50 min. later and went back outside. I was startled to see the paramedics were still there, pumping away on my neighbors chest.
I can not imagine a more difficult job, especially when loved ones are watching and your efforts are in vain.
Thanks Gary for sharing your story, and for all the effort you have expended as a first responder...it was not in vain. It takes a especially gifted person to do what you, Cragman, and Werner do and I am deeply grateful.
bvd! Like the man said, he doesn't know why he shared his story here, amongst all the prattle and longing for day's gone-bye.
BTW, nice shot of the lady on RC Bob!(Was she the "luv of yer life" that you mentioned?
C-ya all on the hill, Trip!

"doesn't seem like the t-shirt thing is going to happen"
?? Why not?? Still enough time!!
Somebody could make a pretty penny on this, and for some time to come(with back orders)! Where are all the entrepreneurs?
I vote for bvb's sketch that was posted earlier.

Bob, you posted a t-shirt sketch earlier? Where?
TripL7, are you Tripper Jack in the above photo (1986 contest)?
EMS was "Mr. Toad's Wild Ride" over the (17) years I was involved. I'm nobody special, just curious and wanted to overcome just being a bystander when faced with a difficult situation, what I considered a weakness way back when. So, I enrolled in an EMT Basic class at a community college in '89 and eventually became a Paramedic in '93 at (31) years old, old compared to most of my classmates, ages (19) - (25)! There were two of us over (30).
In 1999 I used my Paramedic license to join the Navy Reserves as a Corpsman at (36) years old, two month's before my 37th b-day. They called my name in 2004 and I ended up in Iraq from the end of Aug. '04 to March '05. Other than being mortared about every other day, (101) mortars, (50) rockets, (1) IED, it was the most boring campout of my life!
Thank God I wasn't hurt and came home to see my new little one born into the world, Glory to God!

Not sure who "Tripper Jack" is/was. I was on the hill in 1986, and there is a shot of yours truly rubber necking the fabulous/one and only RK on his flash of Lie Detector in the culminating seconds of that epic day/event(i am the guy to the right of and a little behind Phil Bard)FWIW.
Does anyone recall hearing the dude shout at the top of his lungs "Hurry up Honey, Ron Kauk is going to do Uncertainty Principle!" Just as RK is finishing tying in and about to proceed on the classic tr? You could have heard a pin drop, it was as if Moses was about to part the Red Sea!
The bvb artwork I was referring to was similar to, if actually knott, the sketch that adorned the "Woodson Guide" bitd! Perhaps it was MP's artwork(i believe he authored the guide). It would make a very cool and apropos design for a t-shirt, stimulating the senses and such for years to come...eh! Of course it would require approval of the rightful owner/artist. Just sayin!!
