I ran into four Marines, during an incredible afternoon up at Woodson today, who were attached to an air wing at MCAS Miramar, the oldest being my eldest son's age, 25, and the rest in their earlier twenties. It was their first time on Woodson, and on real rock for some of them.

I met up with the guys at Blasted Rock #2 and decided to take them under my wing and give them the tour. Their names were: Marc, Jake, Ryan aka "Tom-Tom", and A.J. They hope to be at the Shindig as well.

If anybody happens to find a Julbo sunglasses case with extra lenses at Woodson I'd be very thankful to get it back.

Let's see, so far we have to giveaway: (3)ropes, hardware (stoppers, hexes, ATC's, biners), gear sling, shoes, resoles, t-shirts, chalkbags, chalk, magazines, posters. If anyone else can obtain anything and bring it that would be too cool!

Not related, just climb a lot together,

Lots of people think we are brothers

Wow, would never have guessed that you two were climbing partners as well! I had a good friend in school that was my "shotgun" throughout high school and even though his hair was brown and mine was blonde, everyone thought we were brothers. Hope to see you two at the shindig!

Thanks Greg, cool!

Is Tom already on the list? I don't see him and/or don't know his username.
