I wonder what the average GPA of those two teams is.
And half an hour to play 10 minutes of actual ball? Really?
Now it is 2 hr 45 min to play 35 minutes of ball. Boy, those advertisers are loving this!
Are those guys even breaking a sweat?

Good college championship game last night. Still think Rose Bowl was best and most exciting though (disclaimer - I'm a lifetime USC football fan)!
I still can't believe that Leon Hall (Giants) wasn't ejected from the game (against the Packers) after that blatant and damaging helmet spearing into Jordy Nelson's ribs...They apparently deemed it an illegal hit after the fact so he'll presumably get fined. Good thing the Packers won what was the only good game of all 4 wild cards.
Really sorry for the Raiders this year too...maybe next year!

As a long time Patriots fan, the best thing for me is seeing all the really depressed Bronco fans around !!! I think 50% of the state wears some official gear...all that sad orange......

Haven't watched much NFL this season.... except for my Panthers sucking hind tit.
Looking at the spreads, every game (except NE vs. Youston) is gonna be close.
Should be a good weekend for football.
Atlanta vs. Seattle? Go Raptors!!!

PROGRAMMING ALERT:
Sunday's early game start time has been moved to 5:20 pm ( Yosemite Valley time ) because of ice in Kansas City.
Ice. What a hell hole. I'll be watching the game outside, sitting on the deck enjoying a margarita, watching the K.C. fans freeze their asses off.
Vegas Odds:
Falcons favored by 5 over Seattle
Patriots favored by 15 1/2 over the Texans
Cowboys favored by 5 over Green Bay
K.C. favored by 1 over the Steelers
I'm going with the underdogs - except for the Patriots

NFL rules are so stoopid. Richardson should have been given the TD.
And thebrefs are so morally corrupt in favor of home teams. They call penalties that don't affect the play like Hester's punt return and then they don't even say who it is on.
This is the playoffs! Let 'em play fer crise sakes!

I haven't seen Atl - they are impressive. Great O line, good receivers, Ryan is smart and has an adequate arm. The D ain't great but decent. Can they beat Dallas or GB? Yes.
Sea Sqwabs' D is a shell of itself - no rush, mediocre LBs, over-rated pass D. They're done.

Reilly ^^^ said it well. Without the Raiders, I'll have to root for the NFC (OK, I might be a bit squeamish about Dallas). I'm sorry that the Hawks lost, but they just didn't seem to play that well today
In edit: I would totally root for the Texans under some circumstances . Lightnin' Hopkins would.

Houston has the highest ranked defense, by far, of any team playing this weekend. New England's D is next.
