For me, at least, the 'point' of this stuff isn't to ferret out info about, or idnetify, indivuals. Spend enough time in this 'media' and a lot of it becomes evident, at least in a general way. The fun is what happens next. For instance, after a career of subterfuge, it is very entertaining to see how much response someone gets by a simple, direct approach. Sort of like lieing by telling the truth.

And, Lois, classic physicality has less to do with climbing than you might think. Google the various 'handicapped' ascents of El cap. My friend the Colonel guided a former Miss (some State) and a one legged guy up Devil's Tower togehter, neither thought they had a chance.

Once in Camp four I say a guy carrying a huge stack of newly washed dishes groin himself on the site number post, throwing said clean cookware into the dirt.
-"I swear there's guys that can climb 5.11 all day, that can't walk down the street" I overheard.

A while back Largo responded to Juan something to the effect that rathar than worry about bieng Trolled, he enjoyed taking part. -he was more eloquent.

I wasn't trying to talk you into climbing, you have to want to climb, and not every one does, just making an observation.. It was said of Diane Hunter (?) a 'strong' climber of the seventies that she couldn't do a pull-up.
