Da Bears are rollin'! I think this could be a cosmic convergence
with Da Cubbies!

Does anybody have a quicker release than Jay Cutler?

BTW, raise yer hand if you've seen Da Bears at Wrigley Field!
Me! Me! Me!

More Bears in Da Hall of Fame than any other team. RESPECT!

Dawgs looking past the Bears. Pretty sure that's Aaron Rodgers in Webb's
uniform.

I'm looking forward to Washington & WA State meeting for the Apple-cup in late Nov., which is an annual, mutual hate-fest game.

Hopefully, both will still be un-defeated in Pac-12 play.

Go Cougs!

I'd heard it called the Road Apple Cup.

Husky D will assert itself in the second half. We will run the ball down
their throat in the second half. It won't even be close. Utah was much
more physical. Those guys were tough. Da Bears are talkin' shite without
having the game to back it up.

Cougs can score but their D sucks. They barely got past Oregon St.

BTW, how bout Navy putting a hurt on Notre Dame today? Proud!

The Raiders are showing so much promise this year!

Big game against the donkeys tomorrow will illuminate where they are really at as a team . . . should be interesting, if of course, you are in to that sort of thing.

I really am not a big football "fan" either, the Raiders, however were never a conventional team and I grew up in the Bay Area watching them play.

Niners standing in there against the Aints!

What's become of the Packers? Down by 14 to the Dolts at home? Hoh, man!
No amount of Old Milwaukee can fix that!

Browns still purrfect - meow.

Rams and Pussycats engaged in a scoring fest - 7-0 after 3 quarters.
Newton is another NFL QB bust from the SEC.

GO RAIDERS!!!!!

How come no one gets to watch the decent game?

You got the 49ers. I got a choice of either the Rams or the Chargers. Rams have the stupidest coach in the League, and the Chargers are just bad.

None of today's games seem very interesting; with the Patriots on a bye week I just watch games where I want specific teams to lose. (take that, Pittsburgh! Step it up, Green Bay!)

I'm most interested in tonight's game.

Go Raiders!

Niners need more than a dead goat. I just don't get why teams continue to
get QB's with more legs than brains. It's no longer debatable that yer legs
will get you out of trouble but they won't get you much further in this league.
Ya gotta stand and deliver the ball!

BREAKING NEWS!
The Rams scored a field goal with 3 minutes left! Pour it on, boys!

The Rams would have just tied the game, if Jeff Fisher hadn't stupidly gone for it on fourth down in the first half instead of kicking an easy field goal.

They did the same stupid thing a few weeks ago, which cost them the game, and afterwards Fisher said something like "that's just who we are" when a reporter asked him how anybody could be so f*#king stupid.

Why Oak. and not Denver?

I just can't get my arms around the team or any of the players. As a 50+ year Pats fan, I built up a love-to-hate thing with PFManning, so when he was brought in I transferred those emotions. Lord Vader says I am getting stronger in the dark ways of the force.

I also listen to a bit of sports radio, but the one and only station in the area is all Broncos, 365 days a year. Rockies win a double header? Nuggets win in overtime? All buried in the 27th minute after full coverage of an off season Bronco hangnail. It's obnoxious. Besides, they fear Tom Brady and call him 'Uggs.' That parts just pathetic. Try a couple years of yapping about Tim Tebow and John Fox after surviving the Boulder floods and its a wonder I didn't use an ice pick to the ears.

If I'm going to live in Colorado as an ex-pat Patriots fan, I at least want a relevant rivalry for the local team; something to make blood boil and bones crack like the Raiders/Broncos of old.

So yeah, go Rrrrrrrraiders!

Yeah, Chaz, Jeff Fisher will never be confused with Belichick.
I think he thinks he's coaching in the Mid-Atlantic League, or Kanada.

The Vikings? They're in a horrendous tailspin.
Da Bears are gonna roll with a healthy Cutler and a newly discovered RB.

Just in. Chargers are still ahead. Two minute warning.

You have been warned.

The origins are from the days in the NFL when the official game time was kept by a member of the officiating crew, with the stadium clock being unofficial. Its purpose was a checkpoint to ensure that the teams knew how much time remained in the game. Since the late 1960s the NFL stadium clock has been official, but by then television was an important factor in the NFL, so the two-minute warning was retained as a commercial break and to serve as "tension building" time, and thus has become an important part of the game's flow

The Chargers won. Beat the spread = 4. O/U 47. Huh?

totally rooting for the Raiders against the Denver Geldings. I know I'll pay for that, probably when the Broncos come back and kick ass, but I will still will be rooting for the Raiders. It'll be sad for me when the Raiders leave Oakland.
