That's a nice tie you're wearing, Seattle and Arizona.

If the 'hawks are serious about winning this year they need to ship a 2nd round pick to the Browns for Joe Thomas. That would turn a shaky offensive line into at the very least a solid one. The inside guys are maulers. Week spot is the LT. Gilliam should be playing better. He did play RT last year and was more than serviceable.
Edit: Both teams choked. Seattle never should have had the chance to choke. Tie feels almost like a win. But not really.

I couldn't take any more of it - too painful. Before the game C Michaels was exclaiming what
"a brainiac" Wilson is. Well, maybe he is but that doesn't necessarily carry over to the game.
He locks in on receivers, if he can even see them over his linemen, and holds the ball too long. Of course, it would help if they had a running game and if the NFL refs weren't such homers.

Sorta hard to use your "brainiac" when the left side of the O-line crumbles like soggy graham crackers

I think that was a great game.
Not the best played - by a long shot. But a good game to watch.
Game Four of a day that started before it was light out going to the bitter end of overtime is as good as it gets.

Granted, but there are things like traps, delayed handoffs, and screens that can compensate,
if not capitalize, on that porosity, to a point. I also put a good portion of this on Pete and his
OC. What, three or four of those linemen are new, right? I have to believe they have the
physical skills so are they too dense to figure things out or are Pete and his OC making things
too hard for them?

Their starting center is Britt who started RG last year and RT two years ago. He seems to be settling in and getting the line calls right.
Their LG is Glowinski who is in his second year and only played one game last year. He's a mauler and part of a bright future.
Ifedi was drafted in the 1st round and is the RG. He got hurt late in training camp and I think this was only his 3rd game. He's got a wicked nasty mean streak. He'll be the starting RG for years and years.
Gilliam is back at RT but was suppose to move to LT. Guess he regressed a little bit. undrafted rookie 3? years ago.
Sowell is the starting LT but he's just overmatched. He went out near the end of the game and was replaced by Fant who is a project convert from the DL. This is why they should/could be tempted to go after Joe Thomas from Cleveland. Not sure he's ideal for the zone blocking scheme but if he is he'd be worth the 2nd pick from my arm chair GM position.
a lot of people bitch and moan that they didn't invest in their line. I'm not one of them. If they invested in the line than that defense wouldn't be as talented.
They also just went up against a fast and talented defense.
The line play will get better. Hopefully before RW is broken into two pieces. and speaking of... his high ankle sprain and MCL sprain are still a factor. He makes everyone better when he can run. Which clearly he cannot.

Like best QB in major college football - 26 TD's against 2 INT's!
Gonna pummel #15 Utah Saturday. OK, so the Pac 12 is weak this year but
the Dawgs are legit. They would destroy Clemson or Michigan and we just
might get to see how Bama fairs against a legit pro type offense, albeit with
a few Boise St tricks thrown in.

Last night featured the #4 and 8 defenses and some pretty established, above average quarterbacks.
Tonight's defenses rank # 2 and 6; with lesser QB talent. I'd wager on a scoreless tie if it wasn't for the huge potential for pick-6's.
