that's how it works

You can have total control of the rules - no holds barred.
I'd suggest that your friend is probably fine and only taking a temporary break from Chris McNamara's & RJ Spurrier's discussion forum by choice, or doing a quick stint in the timeout chair for engaging in the kind of attacks you frequently engage in. Being a member of the stonemasters or any other ad hoc climbing group shouldn't exempt anyone from maintaining a degree of civility.
I made my peace with the guy and wish him no ill will. His posts regarding rescue efforts are first-rate. Most of the rest I ignore.

If anyone got Werner banned it was from the Religious thread, that us liberals avoid after it became the mind thread.
The biggest dicks here are the ones doing the ugly personal attacks, like the ones above

Bullying and Personal attacks, some people just can't look in the mirror.
When you use their name or photo and call them nasty names, it's a personal attack
which is the reason folks get banned, like it or not
it may take time, or it may happen overnight, talk to Admin if you have a problem

I don't know if it doesn't exist.
Because no one can possibly know if something doesn't exist, unless one is omnipresent.

Well, locker, I did that years ago and he never did.
If you want to lock yourself out, change your password to a bunch of random letters then c&p into the confirmation window.
That's what I did.
