A push-me/pull-you.
And an old skidder, still willing.
Merry Christmas, Dingus, and the rest of you tractor folk.

Boy! I could use a hundred yards of that Russian mud.
Delivered, mind you.

On the way to some ice, stopped to see this ...
... and saw this tucked in the corner of the dooryard.
A cool old Oliver dozer.

Snow's gone, mud season almost never was, and I've been keeping an eye out for backyard metal.
Some lift rigs. 1950s? Pettibone and a '70s Lull with a chaindrive hoist.
Along with the obligatory Deere and a nice sturdy Oliver.
Whoa.
Too much?

I used to haul around a couple of those old pettibones, Dale. Those were serious death rigs. They ran, though. No extras, like brakes, though. ;-)

I've been seeing some really nice old tractors in my travels lately. I'll make a point of keeping a camera with me in the future.
NH is rife with them.

GhoulweJ, that Farmall is pimped!
We've also got a couple 8N's around here, show up at the usual fairs - sturdy little fellas.
Skully! The guy with Pettibone and Lull says the last owner of the Petti used it to move cars around a junkyard - that kinda cantilever action up high on a 4-wheel turning rig sounds skeeeetchy.
Brandon-, the potential for ending up in a ditch rubbernecking for old rigs is about the same as eyeballing for ice flows early season. Be careful and post yer pics.
