Nature, best of luck with the new business adventure! I'd like one of those EHangs. Wonder how they would maneuver over a 9,000' mountain range.
Looks like LA might get the Rams and Chargers?
Go 'Hawks!!

Check out the last photo gallery 2/3 of the way down the page. "Photos of the construction taking place in Inglewood at the Hollywood Park site where an NFL stadium could be built."
It's easy to see why this proposal was approved over the Chargers/Raiders one in Carson. Well apart from the back room politics that goes on. This place is going to be NFL Disneyland. They'll move NFL Films and other media entities there. Plus make huge $$$ of the other development there. It'll be interesting to see what it does to Inglewood which is a pretty bleak area. I went to the Forum (right by the site) on New Years and they did a great job on the remodel. The people working there were super cool and I never felt unsafe in the area, but of course didn't travel off the beaten path.

Spanos indicates that a $350 million public investment in his stadium is insufficient. Estimates are that the actual cost of public contribution to Spanos stadium approaches $1 billion dollars.
2014 attendance for Charger games 523,457 (average = 65,432). Population of SD county approximaely 3.2 million.
WHAT
The
F*u*CK?
Oh yeah, maybe SD could host a Superbowl and that brings how many (marginal) dollars to San Diego?
Go Chargers
to L.A.
So putting all the taxpayer dollars together, we’re talking potentially a public investment of between $881 million and $997 million in a new stadium.
Disclaimer: I did not do the research. I'm just calling them out as I read them.

And now. Back to football being played this weekend; Broncos over the Steelers; my prediction (usually full of sheet): Broncos 24, Steelers 10.

I dunno. The Packers offensive line seems lame these days. Rodgers gets the crap beat out of him every game.

Thanks Keith!
Sh#t just got really real. My work that I've been at for 8+ years with salary is cutting me down to 20 hours. Essentially that means I'm about to lose 60% of my income.
And to answer the original question - YESSSSS!
Beast Mode looks to be playing. Unknown X-factor for that game Willson.
Go 'Hawks!

Seattle's defense fully staffed.
What's that make the over-under on number of footballs the Panthers pass out to little kids in the end zone?

Two, if they're lucky. The Hawks will pick the Newt twice.
I'm having a hard time believing Lynch will be in Beast Mode after
such a layoff but his backup has been pretty decent.
Hawks also have the coaching advantage, as long as Pete doesn't
out-think himself.

Tad.... think i'll fly up to you place to eat... LOL....
Brisket (i am getting pretty good at these- figured out how to get the bark, the smoke and the juiciness. It did take me about 1.5 years and about 10 of them turned into dog food to get this down pat)
Red Neck Beans ..... Beef, smoked Ham hocks, Mahogany Smoke house Bacon, and tons of Onions, garlic and more... This made Frummy stop with the vegetarian diet.
Potato Bombs ..... hollow out some baking spuds, stuff with roast beef, blue cheese and wrap with Bacon.
All washed down with copious qty of Sculpin Ale ....
Picks.... Chiefs over Pats, AZ over The Pack, Hawks vs Panthers .... to close to call, might just be epic. and Steelers over Broncos
Yea im ready for some football

Tradman you may need to turn in your NE card. Lots of key Pats are coming back from injuries and the others had a bye week to heal. Pats defense has been almost as good as chiefs and their offense have many of their players that make them so dangerous. O line is still weak but Brady will be able to get rid of the ball much quicker with Edelman back and others more healthy. Chiefs offence is suspect. Could go either way but Pats may be themselves again if so they'll make it happen.
Steelers are in trouble with Ben hurt and brown out. Unfortunately.
Hawks are surging. Beast mode is back. That will be an interesting game.
Pack is also a bit in trouble unfortunately.

With Brown out and Big Ben nursing a bad shoulder I simply don't seem the beating the Donkeys even with Noodle-arm at QB.
Love the Chiefs pick!
And it's all good on the job thing. Just need to get DTAP off the ground.

Yea, I am curious to see what sort of team the Pats trot out on to the field. The team that put up ~130 yards passing on the Dolphins would get destroyed but the Pats are getting players back while KC lost their #1 WR. KC probably has to win the turnover battle to win. Could happen.
I would like to see Denver lose, but I just don't think that happens without Ben being able to go downfield. Brown out is a huge loss.

I would hesitate to count Big Ben out - he's a gamer and does seem to come up big in
big games. The Steelers also got a lot of pride and a stud for a coach. They'll make a
game of it.

How does THAT taste, KC?
I don't really care who wins today, but I do like to see a team who wins the coin toss - and decides to kick the ball away - get scored on.
