Regarding my previous post.
Somewhere in Proverb's it says, "it's best to let sleeping dogs lie".
But since I may have already stepped on ones tail, I would like to add this analogy.
I can only wonder how Mr. Harding felt, in retrospect, after that climb (WotEML), and for the remainder of his life.
It must somehow parallel the way an American soldier felt, after he initially gave his all for his country, and then in those final hours of war, for his comrades by his side.
And then, to arrive home, and be spit on, and called a baby killer.
An American soildiers, welcome home from 'Viet Nam'.
An American climbers, farewell to the 'Valley'.
