Terrible result but a great game. Best super bowl in quite a while. We need more like this one. A true contest.

I didn't care, or could care about who one or lost. All's I know is that game was great. Total nail biter to the end.

Well, maybe next year. They certainly played well. Both teams deserved to win that one.

Before the game I was saying Blount and Gronk were reasonably containable and the entire game would hinge on our ability to deal with Edelman. Personally I thought the real insanity was having Simon trying to cover Edelman who was totally robbed of the MVP.

The more I think about it, the interception was so improbable, the Pats had practiced that exact play on Thursday!, Browner knew the play and motioned to Butler, Butler timed and jumped the route so perfectly. It's almost like they knew it was coming ... Let's add that to the list of Patriots cheatgates, those cheaters.

you forgot to draw the routes the two took to the ball, a triangle!
oh wait, does that make the Kearse/Browner collision the all seeing eye?!

If the Super Bowl is super, that requires great performances from everyone... and Butler's play was a great one, and not just an individual effort but a true team effort that got him on that spot to make the play.

When you watch the video you see so many things happening... like the way Butler drives his left shoulder into Lockette knocking him completely off his feet while catching and protecting the ball...

the Seahawks didn't even know who he was... "that guy made a great play"

for a long time Patriots fan, seeing the defense step up and make a crucial play like that in the big game was a an equally long time coming.

Maybe I'll get to go to SuperBowl L in Santa Clara and see the Patriots play in another competitive game with ?

Maybe L can get me in!

Love the latest deflategate speculation, that only one of the balls was 2psi under (the one that went to the colts sideline?) and the others were all just marginally under 12.5 psi after being inflated at higher temp and deflating in lower temps. Esiason saying that it was a conspiracy of Colts and Ravens to discredit Brady. Weird that I never even heard in the national news that Carolina had violated ball handling rules earlier in the season by warming balls in cold weather game after being reminded of rule before the game, but you know, sex sells. The punishment? A warning. My hero Jerry condemning the cheaters and then admitting that he cheated with stickem, then reaffirming his condemnation of the cheaters. Gotta love our human belief processes. Praise Jesus!

a friend of mine asked how long the "SuperBowl hangover" lasts...
I notice it is slightly attenuated... just a data point.

incredible game, it's weird how close the outcome was to being completely different...
...Brady kneeing and taking it all in before shaking Sherman's hand at the end was as eloquent a statement of that randomness as any.

Somebody was ready on Monday night.I didn't see the game but am not surprised at the score.

A link that's several years old. Coach Bolden is still running things.

What's with the stupid camera angles?

There was just a blocked punt - but live action missed it because someone decided the best place for the camera was on the turf, directly behind the punter.

TV used to be The Best Seat In The House. But not CBS.

I don't have cable. Just an antenna to pull in free HD sports. Everything else is Netflix or Amazon streaming.
