Yesterday I did three sets of six pitches with a 1/2 mile run back to the base each time in 34 degree weather over four hours. Didn't appear to help a goddamn wit so I think I'm going to have to get serious about this sh#t after all and actually exert myself more often than once a week. Damnit all.

Cool pic munge. I rapped the column both times I did routes in winter. But I've gotten bailing with heavy loads down, so rapping with wall stuff seemed better than toting it down a potentially slick NDG.
Jan and March routes, and both were Tshirt weather during midday. Killer while looking at winter half dome.

Hey there fat arses,
Just got back from Grand Cayman where the Caybrew was flowing no later than 10:30 daily. I was a little nervious about the weigh in this morning, but much to my surprise I weighed in at 183 6 pounds lighter than my initial weigh in.
Haw are fatass failures #1 and #2 doing (Riley and Goat). I'll tell you this for sure it will be 2 seperate dinners, you 2 will not be splitting the tab on this bet.
Cheers and good luck to all except Riley and Goat.
Prod.

Haven't had a sip of beer or alcohol since we started and I'm already down five pounds.
I've always ate well and exercised, it's the beer that takes it's toll as you get older.

I'm down 5 since the start of the contest, 13 since I started trying to get my weight back down. My pants are getting pretty baggy, and I think I'll go into the dark recesses of the closet this weekend, to pull out some pants that I haven't been able to wear for a couple of years.

WARNING, WARNING, WARNING...
Monday, January 28th is the mid-point weigh-in. Participants must be at least 4 pounds down from their starting weights or fines of $10.00 will incur.
Keep up the good work. Me, as of yesterday was down just under 3 pounds which is not setting well with me. It's not coming off with diet and climbing alone. Damn it!
I need to send a reminder notice to all the people playing about Monday's weigh in. Can someone please shoot me an email that has the DC distribution list on it? I'm using webmail and I don't have it handy.
Mucho Gracias Tubbo's,

I made a monumental error last weekend at Costco. They had a liter tin of Ephemere chocolate covered fruits. Somehow, I thought that I had a bit of self control. 23 servings x 190 calories per serving. That should last me just about the whole month and be a nice reward for my efforts. Wrong! Gone by Monday.
Still, I am down somewhere between 2.5 and 4.5 depending on time of day.

Hopefully JANUARY 28th was meant - us lightweight lurkers may not be able to maintain the program for another full month.

Yesterday I was 1.2 pounds below the required midpoint weigh in. Today, .6 above. Do you think sorbitol is the solution?
(hoping that a lil bit o exercise and a light lunch will get me back under!)

I was 2 lbs under the cutoff on Saturday, and then 2 lbs over on Sunday, for no obvious reason. I just squeaked under this morning.
