Kris, I will be dropping my trailer of Wed and hang the taco sign. Will be awesome to meet you, thanks for all the routes you've put up in the hills.

John, so glad you will make it. Been looking forward to meeting you as well.

Flip, talked to Mike today and unfortunately he said he's got too much work and not enough help. Be good to catch up bud.

Justin.... I have been telling all of the Stoney people to go camp about 100 yards past your trailer. I assume you are going to try to locate it in the same spot as last time.

This is going to be fun.

How big is the prize pile?

Yeah Guy, we'll be in the same spot.

Prize pool looking good so far. Main prize is a new rope. Hopefully people will bring some stuff to donate to the cause. Looking forward to sharing some brews and laughs with you. I got a similar North Fork story I'll share with you around the campfire.

Unfortunately pulling out. Something else came up. But it isn't because of the kiddo; he was a champ for our Memorial Weekend test trip.

I'm a Shuteye nubie. Any special considerations for bears (aside from not leaving raw salmon lying about)?

A dozen trips there, including camping, I've never seen one. Obviously they're up there somewhere, but they're not overly nosy in my experience.

On the subject of wildlife, I heard there was a mountain lion giving dogs some trouble last year, but I haven't heard anything to that tune yet this year.

Bummer, but it looks like you guys still know how to roll. Good times!

Bears up there? I've only heard of mountain lions. I've only been up there a couple of times but Mucci and Kev tell me they've seen tracks.

Doesn't really surprise me. The terrain is more suited for the cougars I guess. I've heard they get close to camp too....ooohhhh. I have a story.

This mama and her three little cubs (not the pathetic baseball team) checked in on our coffee drinking session one morning. After this pic, she winded me and bolted. Every bear I've come across up there seems to share the same reaction. I even got between a cub (also not the shitty team) and mom and she decided quickly the cub was on it's own. Never had any problems with them trying to get in our food when we were climbing for the day. I doubt they will want anything to do with us, but you never know.

This wolf dog on the other hand will likely eat your face off, so sleep with one eye open.

Lol Jeremy.
Wish I could make it, bros...if for nothing else to witness the brotherly sh¡t talking in person.
I've been holding onto hope for a last minute surgical strike, but as I expected- work is too gnarly.
I'm going to try and make a late season trip, hope you're down.
Have fun and be safe.

Hi All,
I am vert interested to join. But last time I tried to climb at shuteye, me and my friend drove around for hours and lost our way. Is anyone going from bay area (I live in San Fran). Would be nice to share ride with someone who knows the navigation.
If left to myself, I will drive out saturday morning. Please let me know if anyone wants to join.
