Foxes are almost dogs and they definitely got a life.

Spoiled? Like that hunting show that ends with the guy saying "never, ever spoil your bird dog", and then the dog's laying on his lap, or eating off the table.

If mine want to hang around me, they have to be happy laying in the dirt, with the goats.

How do goats and dogs get along? Which kind of critter dominates?

Correct me if I'm wrong, Chaz, but I bet those goats don't get messed with much.

They're more stubborn than dogs.

They get along better than I would have thought. I don't have to worry about leaving them together unsupervised.

The goats are pretty much left alone. They are stubborn - they would rather stand their ground than leave - but that's because they can't really run so well. They run all stiff-legged, like little sawhorses.

The dogs and the goats will sometimes bluff charge each other, but neither of them are fooled.

I didn't know this, but our feral lap dog does -- the mouse hunting goes much better when it snows.

as if you needed another reason to believe dogs are better than people:
