Reckon they shouldn't have given up on Alex Smith. Kapernick was terrible. Those two pick by Sherman weren't good plays by Sherman. They were bad throws, as were just about everything he tried longer than 5 yards.
That was ugly.

Football is the strangest religion ever. Fricken weird, is what.
Not really a religion but for myself it reminds me of fun times spent with family and friends that may not be around anymore. If Detroit wins I know that would make my Dad happy, and that makes me happy.
Who doesn't enjoy listening to a ballgame either baseball or football on the radio while working in the garage. Or taking a lazy weekend off and teaching kids how to throw and catch a ball. It's one of the great things about America like freedom of speech, the right to bear arms and making fun of Canadians.

The niners vs. the hawks is a tough one for me. Th 49er's are the YNP team for sure, and the Seahawks are my local team. So, I hate either team losing and cheer either winning! Go Hawks (I guess)!

I haven't been paying much attention to this thread, because I mostly focus on real football, oh and the SF Giants. But
Are there any Az. Cardinal fans on the Taco? It's a pretty big game this coming weekend. I have too many friends who REALLY CARE about the Seahawks to not root for the Hawks, but if the Cardinals manage to pull it off with a Nth string quarterback, more power to them.

ho man, the Pats won a totally ugly game in the Meadowlands... smashmouth would be a too elegant description, but in the end, they managed to hang on and let the clock expire with a point lead...
all that matters is the W (though the defense has been very stingy on allowing any touchdowns in the second half, they shined again today)

Bob Costas or Dan Patrick. I don't know which one I dislike more. NBC just needs Erin Andrews, and they'll have every turd in football broadcasting.
Al Michaels sounds like he'd be happier covering horse races for the Food Network.
