I have used Goatd.net before when I was desperate... it is a known malware and virus riddled mess but will stream all the games.
I just went there and got a deceptive website warning, where it says they will try to get phone numbers, bank info, credit card info etc...
But if you really want to see a game, on a throwaway laptop, that might be your honeyhole

Russ,
I cant believe that Geezer tourney let-down! Ho man..
I dont feel quite bad enough for you to gift any more dough to the Morongo strays though.
The only question is will the Dodgers score this month?

Has a DH ever come in to pitch in a game he's already in?

Ohtani shows some promise... but hitting a hanging curve off the Klubott ain't rocket surgery. I like his pitching better than his hitting

So, Ohtani is 1-0 with .429 avg and 2 homeruns. Not a bad start.

He can't keep this up all season, right?
Ohtani became the first player in 99 years to win two games and hit three home runs within the first 10 games of a season. The last: Jim Shaw, he of the "Grunting Jim" nickname, for the 1919 Washington Senators.
In those first 10 games, Ohtani has a 2.08 earned-run average and a .389 batting average. He leads the team in wins, and he is tied with Trout and Justin Upton for the team lead in home runs.
...
He became the third player in major league history with a double-digit strikeout game and a home run in three consecutive games, joining Babe Ruth (1916) and Ken Brett (1973).
Ohtani tied an Angels record with 18 strikeouts in his first two games. He tied the American League record with 12 strikeouts in one of his first two starts.
...Ohtani has more home runs than either Kris Bryant or Aaron Judge, more strikeouts than either Chris Sale or Max Scherzer.

Love those photos of the splendid splinter. In that last one, where he's just made contact with the ball, it sure looks like both his feet are almost off the ground, maybe the point of his front foot is still down. But all his weight was projected into the ball. Pretty amazing.
Can't wait for a possible Ohtani-Ichiro showdown, although the first chance won't be until the first week of May - if Ohtani's turn in the rotation comes up, and if Ichiro is still with the club. That last one could be a big if. Oh well, the life of a baseball fan, hope springs eternal.
Of course if I really want to hope for something it should be for Ichiro to pitch to Ohtani. I almost forgot, Ichiro has pitching lines in his MLB stats. I think he knew Ohtani was coming over to the USA this year and so wanted to beat him to the record for first Japanese MLB player to both hit, field and pitch in the bigs. Note: Ichi pitched in the last game of 2017 of a losing season for the Marlins, who also probably knew he'd be packing his bags for some other team in 2018, and so gave him his final wish in his last inning in a Marlins uni.

But this swami can’t help but wonder how many talented young players in the current Padres organization would have a chance to make my team if I put it together 50 years from now (which I’m not going to feel like doing then, so I’m trying now).
My current all-time team:
Catcher: Terry Kennedy.
First base: Nate Colbert.
Second base: Alan Wiggins.
Third base: Ken Caminiti.
Shortstop: Garry Templeton.
Left field: Dave Winfield.
Center field: Steve Finley.
Right field: Tony Gwynn.
Left-handed pitcher: Randy Jones.
Right-handed pitcher: Jake Peavy.
Reliever: Trevor Hoffman.
Say it ain't so, Nick. No TED.
Before San Diego had professional baseball, it had Ted Williams. And before he had Fenway Park, Williams had the sandlots and playgrounds of his North Park neighborhood. In 1936, the Pacific Coast League came to town, just in time for a 17-year-old Williams to join the first Padres team.
Williams, at Jack Murphy Stadium in 1996, was inducted into the Padres Hall of Fame last year.
