I'm not sure how I'm getting to Yellow Pine CG, but will be there as early as possible. I may come up and spend a few nights prior in C3P4, bot I'm not sure yet.
Anyone willing to haul me up there? Pretty please with Chilo's Chile on it?

It shouldn't be a problem for me to pick you up, just don't know exactly when. That's a work week for me, may not start until Tuesday, hopefully Monday, and be about 3 days of work. Maybe 4. So worse case is I won't be able to leave until Friday. Boo.
You should probably find a ride to, I can give a ride home for sure. Planning on lingering for a few days after Facelift to get in my Valley time.

Just got word from Fattrad that meat fest is on for Saturday night. He requests that a minimum of 3 people bring charcoal.
Alright you guys and gals, step up and bring something tasty to contribute.
Thanks!
Edit, forgot, Fattrad has a meat fest Facebook page if you're into that kind of thing.
Khanom, Vicki, are you coming?
Miss LynneL...Tasty tortilla soup?
Edit, The big bags.

Here is info about group projects:
Hello Yosemite Facelift Participants!
The Facelift team is SO excited that the big event is just around the corner - and we hope you are too! There is nothing quite like this special week of working hard and having fun in Yosemite.
On the note of working hard....we want to give you a heads up several group projects happening throughout the week that we are recruiting for. Sign up is the same as usual at the registration booth, but if you want to sign up ahead of time for one of these awesome group projects there will be an opportunity to do so starting 8 am Wednesday at the registration booth in front of the Valley visitor center (and we would love it if you would!).
The projects are as follows:
WEDNESDAY:

Social Trail Eradication meet on the mall at 8:30 Project Description: Using heavy duty shovels to decompact unwanted social trails in Bridalveil meadow removing ruts that fragment habitat and disrupt meadow hydrology. -Crane Flat Clean-Up 10 am (meet at Crane Flat Gas Station) Project Description: Guided litter cleanup in Tuolumne Grove area and Crane Flat area. Volunteers must transport themselves to the Crane Flat Gas Station to meet the project leader. Easy to moderate difficulty. 20 volunteer maximum.

Tell your Facelift friends, and we're looking forward to seeing you in a few short days!
Sincerely,

Susan Meatfest is totally on. I think I missed out on the brownies last year! I'll have to be on it this year. Looking forward to seeing you and Michael again.
John your Kebob was becoming a tradition. You'll be missed.
Man Lilabean, brokendown and johntp aren't going to make it either; bummer. And I am pretty sure Skip and Eric are doing something else too.
Can't wait!!!

DAMN, senorita! ^^^^
But work pays in so many ways.
Hope you do make the Meatfest, HJ.
I have beans covered, mostly, but need help.
I don't have a large pot, unless Mr. Flip Flop decides to bring the one I left in his truck at Shuteye last year (plus the glass lid).
I don't have a camp stove, either, but someone can probably provide one to simmer the offering.
They will be scratch beans, so they'll soak 24 hours prior to cooking.
There will need to be some fresh tomatoes, and Romas are the ones, not the fancy salad types. Boil them and let them cool to where the skin sloughs off easily.
I plan on adding in two small cans of salsa de tomate con jalapenos and three small cans of salsa de tomate and that's all--no beer in my beans, Maldaly, thanks.
Anyway, I saw GLee off just now. He spent the night here and we had some fun at Marie's Homemade Enchiladas and stopped in to watch the Pack and the Vikes at the Publick House.
I'm leaving in the morning and will get to the Village about 9 a.m.
See ya all when I see ya!
