So sorry to hear, having recovered from 5 broken vertebrae in a fall last February I wake each day knowing how lucky I am to have full mobility and now strength returning. Here's hoping you have the same luck. When I awoke, watching Kill Bill in the Mexican hospital was my lifeline to stay strong. Sending strong vibes your way.

this is a great idea, dave...
say, perhaps, every 12 hours, we could all agree to stop what we are doing and all pray/wellwish/encircle/etc like at what:
9:00 am and 9:00 pm west coast..
and
that would be 12:00 noon and then midnight, east coast??
anyone that wants to do that, we could sure jump in...
i could do that... anyone else?

Whoa. It's never a good day when you hear about someone you know getting seriously injured. Scott's always been a cool dude every time I've run into him.
Pullin' for ya Coz. Wake up soon and get to healing.
Edit to add: Funny, I generally bump his Southern Belle story every winter when everyone starts to get cabin fever...being that it is one on the finest written stories on the entire site (IMO). Since they deactivated his, original account... it has been deleted. :(. I was thinking about contacting him just a few days ago to see if he saved a copy anywhere for a repost...then this accident puts him on the front page.
