For all you haters, if you have never been a victim, then you should really just STFU.

Once you have, your entire world changes.

WASHINGTON -- Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas) said Friday that the shootings that took place in an Aurora, Colo. movie theater hours earlier were a result of "ongoing attacks on Judeo-Christian beliefs" and questioned why nobody else in the theater had a gun to take down the shooter.

During a radio interview on The Heritage Foundation's "Istook Live!" show, Gohmert was asked why he believes such senseless acts of violence take place. Gohmert responded by talking about the weakening of Christian values in the country.

"You know what really gets me, as a Christian, is to see the ongoing attacks on Judeo-Christian beliefs, and then some senseless crazy act of terror like this takes place," Gohmert said.

That guy is crazy. (Shooter and numbnuts rep from Texas.)

If someone did in fact have a gun in the theater, they'd know:

A. He's got a bigger gun.
B. He's got armor.
C. He'll keep shooting, at me.

Better to play dead then to be a dead hero.

Yeah! SOMEONE GOT SHOT! LETS PICK ON THE NRA!

The NRA gives a bad name to gun owners. Make us all seem bat sh#t insane.

They f*cked up, but they didn't know about the shooting. You can't blame them...

The media and intrawebs are blasting the NRA for that silly mistake for no reason.

For f*cks sake, CNN posted that Gotye had shot himself.

He thought it was awesome, and didn't come out. His agent told him he should at least send a tweet.

People f*ck up.

A 100 years ago, this gunman would have been taken down in seconds by law abiding armed citizens.

Pandora's gun cabinet was opened long ago and is still propped open by the NRA and their puppets in the GOP. Get used to it...it ain't gonna close anytime soon. What good is a gun fetish if you don't act on it?

Have you ever actually been shot at, at close range, by someone who was skilled and motivated to kill you, with a real gun? Just curious.

Interesting background on the shooter in that there really is no background.... going for his PhD in some pretty heady stuff. No priors.

All the arguments over being able to kill the guy and how good a shot you might be are absurd. I'm an awesome shot on the range with decades of practice in all sorts of firearms. Does that translate to a dark urban battlefield scenario with screaming friendlies and the confusion of an AR being rapidly fired inside with a smokescreen to boot?

No.

Again, I always carry a firearm on the slight chance I might be able to help someone someday but that has nothing to do with this tradgedy.

Gun laws do not prevent crazy people from doing crazy sh#t. It's that simple. To everyone that thinks "America" is soooo violent you need to open your f'ing eyes a bit. Really? Everytime I hear that I wonder if anyone else has access to the same news I do.

Humans are savages all over the world. They do horrible things to each other every day, in every country. What tools they use are irrelvant. Try to get past that point.
