Moosie, I remember Crowley was always blaming bump and run on snooky. Out of the blue, when snooky wasn't around. The techniques are the same. Snooky was also a self-professed political junkie. This was before the snooky avatar was all but abandoned after slagging Bachar so relentlessly that people reacted.
As for Crowley, I believe ST has pulled his plug and banned him. Or, I should say, banned him from posting as A. Crowley. He's been busy in the basement posting as Leonard, Tracy, gw, snooky, etc.

Hey Wild Bill,
I didn't know Supertopo did the whole banning thing. I thought Crowley was off on some adventure. At least thats what I remember L saying.

The self described Dufas wrote:
HK you first said I should go away. Thanks for the offer, but I find it instructive to tune in once in a while and check on the status and bahavior patterns of the lowest common denominator. Many thanks to HK and locker for providing an update.
I did write "go away" as a one-line retort to "get a life" - that seemed a bit harsh.
And you are a fellow Mac user after all...
Thanks for checking up on us who represent the lowest common denominator.
Also, thanks for setting a lofty example of what the knott-so-low provides:
(just a quick sample of the 1st page of your posting history; I wouldn't want you
to think I'm wasting such precious time - and being nowhere near as cool as you)...
I suppose if you had it your way, the Supertopo Forum would look like this on a hourly basis:
(only 18 of those bumped threads are showing in this screenshot)
-others might knott agree.
'Nuff said...

I give up. You're right, I must be an idiot with a pathetic existence. Please flame away so that I can know what an ass I am and the end that I fittingly deserve.
Locker, don't worry, I won't be on your doorstep for tips on how to live a "life" and don't expect you'll be banging on mine anytime soon. Seems a good compromise. Get a life doesn't mean my life, and after thinking about it, you're right that it is a silly trite phrase. I concede.
HK, from a previous post, I thought you were into windows? To answer your question, I don't really care about those who post so much. On the other hand, good threads like, i.e., "double dihedral" or "temple crag conditions", or the occasional brilliant post from the high end of the climbing spectrum, make it worth the effort of checking in. As far as my post about Luther Pass, should I assume that you think it is OK to tailgate a small car in a massive pickup, less than a car length, at 40mph +, on unplowed very slippery roads during a big storm? Perhaps you just don't understand the issues with mountain driving and I'll give you the benefit of the doubt on that.

I never suggested that you were pathetic. It's just that you came off like a condescending
prick with your first post in this thread. FWIW, I visited the site yesterday, and saw a lot
of old threads on the front page. I like reading the political stuff here occasionally,
so I clicked on one of the links. But there was no new post. WTF? So I clicked a few
more. Someone was bumping threads and quickly deleting. The forum was close
to unusable for a short while. I spent a whopping 2 minutes trying to catch the bastard,
and got lucky. I think I at least deserve a beer for my effort, knott a put-down from you.
Regarding your post about Luther Pass, I was poking fun at your prose, knott the content.
I was expecting a much higher level of sophistication - given your supercilious ranting.
But I have to ask: WTF were you doing driving:
"40mph +, on unplowed very slippery roads during a big storm"
-"in a whiteout" - and with your kid in the car to boot????
BTW, do a forum search and you will see that I am a Apple fanboy - PC's suck!

Good question.
I drive according to conditions and was going 25-30 when this guy comes roaring up on my ass. I was trying to get the jerk off my tail by going a little faster. It didn't work, so I simply stopped, slowly, in the middle of the road, because the shoulders were a 3 foot berm. At that point, the guy pulls over in front of me and gets out of his massive truck wanting to fight, simply because I was in his way. And he knows my 7 yr old girl is in the car. He was a "bay area moron" probably on way too much coffee in a jacked Z71 going to the ski resort and obviously the safety of myself and my daughter was insignificant to his plans.
I'll admit I was pissed when writing that message. Wouldn't you be?

I suppose I should check my ST hotmail account more often; I try to do it every few weeks...

Hardman,
Why would you post a thread about Snooky and then turn it into a thread about Crowley?
There was a message in Crowley's post, intended for Woody only.
See the difference between that post and Snook's "zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz", you idiot?
