How long till they realize that gay jokes are about as funny as blacks eating watermelon jokes? Is it just the type of person who is attracted more to aiding than climbing? People for whom fitness, discipline and moving gracefully are less important than being a member of a fraternity of insensitive slobs with drinking problems who find some sort of validation in working their way up a rock on the slow aid elevator because they can’t climb anything without being reminded of how far they have let themselves slide or the reality that they never pushed themselves as climbers in the first place?
Homophobia and aiding are both shameful realities that we should be striving to overcome, not perpetuating.

The whole gay marriage debate is a joke - it will be legal in all blue states in a generation, and legal across the US in 2 generations. It's just old folks who care at all.

If you can't laugh at gay jokes and don't like all aspects of climbing you are missing out.
Of course being offensive ain't cool, but if you can't laugh with them and can't talk about controversial subjects progress and understanding is limited.

thats exactly what I have always thought! Old English is piss! and when you pour it in the sink, its like taking a leak there. Somethings are just not right. Rainier Ale runs a close second, but nothing beats a warm Old English horrorshow.

I have participated in every kind of climbing for 35 years.
Bouldering, Free Trad, Sport, Ice, Alpine, Mixed, Big wall.
I have never been a racist or a homophobe, and there are many like me.
I think you should pull the whole thing. You just look like as big a fool as those you are calling out.

I have a problem with this post/troll primarily because the way it was handled. If it's a legitimate concern, you come across as an idiot and totally missed your opportunity to raise an important issue. If it's a joke, you're an still idiot who should be soundly thumped for your poor taste and judgment.
