This one will be tricky. There's going to be a ridiculous amount of people there. But as it was pointed out in the other thread we'd probably raise even more money if raw fish was involved. So.... here goes.

Now... it's worth mentioning that two years ago in April was the first Sushifest and it was when I first met Roy. I had no idea until a week ago that he was having these troubles. Anyway... it only seems like the right thing to do in lending my services.

This isn't a SushiFest. There will be a lot of people that will attend that probably won't even know there will be a sushi tent. It makes it kinda tough to plan this. But I'll do my best but will need a fair amount of help.

So basically in general I need to get an idea of how many hunderds of people will be there, need maybe a second sushi bar, and need at least half a dozen slaves. Oh... and some up front funds to purchase fish. The math is pretty easy.... and funds raised over and above my fish costs goes to Roy.

Any ideas out there? How do we get this rolling? ;-)

Edit: PS, if you are attending SalsaFest you are also welcome to join us. We take the high road (especially locker and cosmic)

If you need a slave, I'm your man. Tell me what you need me to do: wash dishes, haul trash, whatever...if I can be of assistance, I'll do it gladly. I will be there Saturday morning, can be there Friday night if needed.

Doug, I'd be glad to help too. Wonder if we can get a music/sushi gig going also to make more dinero for the Tar Baby.

Todd, are the Cactus Dudes available for that weekend. We could have Sushi and music the night before or the night after or earlier on the same night ...... like from 6-8pm.

If I'm able to be at Todd's at all, I'll help before, during and after. Whatever's needed - several hundred people at a fundraiser take a bit of preparation and work. Somewhat as with the FaceLift, we may need a corps of volunteers with jobs.

I'll even bring my litter stick.
