Hardman Knott has confirmed what was suspected: A. Crowley WAS banned from ST for his shitty, rude obnoxious stalking.
And then Crowley begged CMac to let him play again. Deluged CMac with phone calls and whined until he was permitted to return to ST.
It's time to ban Crowley again. Because Mr. Crowley, on a website devoted to rock climbing . . .

But, having been stalked and harassed by Matt Moore / A. Crowley, Dr. Taco has adopted this psuedonym to protect himself from further harassment.
Have any of you been the unwitting focus of Matt Moore's mental illness?

I agree with the free speech aspect of this argument, however, this is about bad behavior, not freedom of expression. Matt Moore makes it his mission to disrupt this forum, IMO.
How about all of you 'friends of Matt Moore' (who likely helped reverse the ban), appeal to him to be more civil or at least keep his crap on the political threads and off the climbing threads. By now, we are all well aware what awaits those who join a political thread with him around and dares express a divergent view. Funny what a double standard it is if you agree with him...but I've written this too much already.
Matt's BS is a disincentive for me personally to participate here on any threads. I enjoy the ST but see no value whatsoever in being stalked and harassed because of my viewpoints. This has gone on for almost a year now, ever since he arrived and turned bad. While I believe in fighting fire with fire, if I'd been banned, I think I'd change my ways. But then, rehabilitation is sort of a pipe dream isn't it?
As many of us have tried to make clear, if someone was constantly sniping at you for simply having a different opinion, you'd get sick of it too. Matt's attention and personal touch are unwanted! I bet if all of us agreed with Matt Moore, he'd still find some way to be a creep.

I have observed Crowley being respectful and contributory many times--IN CLIMBING THREADS.
All of the other bullshite threads (including mine) are not only fair game for ANYBODY"S drivel and opinions, but SHOULD be questioned, scrutinized and even chastised.
Shite, somedays I have to TRY to find a climbing thread that has been added to--and when I find it, the front page buries it with drivel topics from all of us bored, opinionated wanna-be climbers.
I like to look at the photos and TRs of CLIMBERS out there getting shite done, not the ENDLESS bickering amongst a bunch of "children" that are too smart for their own good.
At least Crowley is the funniest, most-entertaining and thought-provoking a$$hole among the bunch of you, and everybody knows who YOU are.

We need a kill(ignore) function. Putting someone on your ignore list changes only how you see ST, and does not change anyone else's view.
That will get more climbing threads on the first page.

I think A.C. needs to back off the personal attacks, but then I would also appreciate less comments like "stupid liberals".
When we use the same tactics as that of the person we dispise, then we are no better then they are.
We tend to do better when we know each other face to face.

That ways anyonw who wants all the drivel can have it, and the rest can have peace on earth and good will toward men.

Ignore button? Tried the voluntary ignore option; doesn't work. The guy insists on attacking posters that he has deemed his political enemy. It's very simple. You MattFans refuse to accept that he intentionally disrupts the ST for his own selfish enjoyment. Glad you find it entertaining.
