A must see:
http://zeitgeistmovie.com/
This is a full-length Internet movie
that left me dumbfounded and angry.
It's the scariest thing I've ever seen.
It schooled me on Religion, Education,
and the Federal Reserve Bank. Learn
about the North American Union and
the US Revolution.
And more.

Here, to make you feel better:

PS. Whether or not you get into the whole Zeitgeist
movie, that's up to you. Still, Part I on the Zodiac
and it's parallels to religion is interesting.

i find it ironic that Professor Steven E. Jones was used as a source for the 9/11 portion of the film. isn't he a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints?
the film is well done. alot of interesting ideas. a good play on words for sure.

I was talking to a friend of mine today about this movie.
The North American Union stuff is wild, google that if you haven't
heard about it (Mexico, Canada, and US becoming a union).
Think it's crazy?? It's already in process...
Get ready for the Amero, or whatever the new currency will be.

Just watched this movie for the first time.
Really drives home the point that whatever the top dogs want they can get, for no other reason than they can manipulate events faster than the rest of us can get the truth hammered through our thick skulls.

K-man,
I've watched the movie and I think that I feel what you feel. It's scary stuff.
How do we get the average American to watch and react to it??
Because we need a reaction. We need a change.

i cant get this movie out of my head.
the first third was very interesting. but a bit confusing.
easter is in the spring, not december. but the rest of it i found fascinating.
the middle third, crazy moonbat nonsense. the simplest explanation, angry muslims, probably did it. i have a lot of trouble believing it was an inside job. utter nonsense. sure, there are CIA records of planning attacks in the US, but did they actually carry out any?
now the last third, the new world order crap has got me buggin. the movie continually mentions an international banking cartel. but who are they?
the north american union thing is interesting, but, is it necessarily bad? maybe, maybe not. who knows, who cares? honestly, whats the difference WHICH jerk is in charge, and where he's sitting?
the ideas about the federal reserve system were interesting.
As for the theory of all these wars being used to fill the pockets and coffers of the rockefellers, what would, and to what end, would a one world government be? If it were all one government, who would be left to fight? no war means no more profiteering. how are "they" going make any money without their war to fight?

The 9/11 conspiracy thing is a hard pill to swallow. However, they fact that major questions are avoided makes me wonder all the more. The molten steel under the trade centers, weeks after their collapse, without any explanation except explosives. Disappearing planes (not one, but two), etc. Also, why the year-and-a-half delay in forming the 9/11 Commission? There are just too many inconsistencies to ignore.
Typical Neocon's response: It would be too hard to pull it off.
I say: Let's look at the facts first, without trying to place blame. Then, after it's determined, one way or the other, you look for the crooks.
As for the Fed--Think of this. We're in "debt" to the tune of Trillions. But, in debt to who? Where did all of our taxpayer money go?
It went to somebody who is Very rich. And we still owe them, for years to come.
The question of Why is a good one. Who would want to rule absolutely? I don't know, but I certainly wonder why they need to collect the communications of every US citizen! And don't think they haven't been--every phone call, email, cell call. Until recently, it was all tracked and parsed, in real time.
Now, doesn't the weather look good? Looking forward to climbing!

Nicholas Kristof wrote an Op Ed piece in the NYTimes on March 30, 2008 with the memorable quote, regarding the Rev. Jeremiah Wright statements that: "the sad reality is that conspiracy theories and irrationality aren’t a black problem. They are an American problem."
I think that he's right.
