What type of hiker would find a 10 foot tall MJ plant, and then waymark the co-ordinate to tell the authorities about it ?

There have been instances of these farmers shooting at hikers. So the guys that reported it may have been concerned for the lives of other hikers.

Or they may have been dweebs.

Either way, who the hell wants an influx of seedy schwag that was harvested prematurely due to the cold temps at that elevation?

The same bunch that would raise holly hell if a rancher let his cattle munch on a little public range seem to be just fine with organized crime moving into the neighborhood and trashing it.

If this Republican hiker found a (singular) 10 ft plant he'd take a sample home.

If he found 108,000, he'd drop a dime in a heartbeat.

You guys gotta be joking. I'm no Republican, and I don't have any problem with folks smoking weed (or growing a small bit for personal consumption).

Posted above: "The pot growing on the Western Sierra is serious stuff. South-of-the-border drug lords setting up operations in the middle of nowhere. Leaving gun-wielding Mexicans to tend farm. Using tons of pesticides and leaving the growing site trashed and polluted."

Damn straight. Look further north... hikers getting shot, tons of garbage (and worse toxins) left to run into streams.

Find something like this and you are doing us all a favor by notifying the rangers.

As soon as the Cops are done clearing the dope out of The Eastside, I know a big patch of Poison Oak they can get busy getting rid of.

Imagine how much damage Poison Oak would do if a Kid smoked a bong-load of that.

The Cops can get their Tactical Beer-Bellies all dressed up in their Tactical Jack-Boots and their Tactical Boonie-Hats and get their asses down to the San Juan Trailhead in The O.C. and eradicate the Poison Oak that's taking over the place there.

The two guys they found dead were gardening when the fire hit a few weeks ago. Talk about bad juju--

"Tuesday morning, Sheriff Lutze reported that some Hispanic people reported to his office that they found members of their family burned to death up in the Inyo Complex fire area. Sheriff Lutze said that Search and Rescue and deputies began the search and did find two bodies. Lutze said the two were found next to another marijuana grow site of some 15,000 plants. It appears the two were victims of the Inyo Complex fire."

Here is my brother Kim.. He spent 2 years in Fed. prison because he was a "farmer." I thought farming was America's only essential business? Maybe we should make climbing illigal too? Maybe alcohol as well?

So all those whose consciousness is in the mode of ignorance worship Lord Shiva. He is in charge of them and gives them intelligence to go to material drugs to increase their illusion.

Now Mr. Shiva came as Sankaracharya and preached the nonsense mayavadi philosophy to those that desired this nonsense to mislead them. He did not want to do this but was ordered to from higher ups.

The "higher up" knew the rascals would be mislead with the ultimate knowledge that these material drugs would lead the jiva atmas to misery.

Without pain there is no reason to rectify and come to the correct platform of knowledge.

Now Sankaracharya in the end could not even contain his master troll onto the poor conditioned souls who were falling deeper and deeper under the clutches of the illusionary energy of the Supreme Lord, (the real "higher up").

Yes, in the end Mr. Shiva preached against his own manufactured nonsense philosophy and expounded the truth of the "Absolute"

Happy smoking this weed to your illusionary benefit ......

On weschrist's latest project there are numerous holds.

At the crux the holds are such that their individual identity become even more profound within memory then those "holds" leading up to the crux.

Each "hold" has it's own individual identity that separates itself from the other "holds".

Thus even a simple fool such as me can understand "acintya bheda-abheda-tattva"

That's just how I roll......

or the ego we put forth, hiding the inner child, rolls that way

the talk we have with ourselves rolls that way

the mask of brevity, the illusion of confidence

I'm a man, and damn it, I roll that way

I feel your pain Weschrist

PS. Nice Poem, love it
