My hope is that this index of SuperTopo Climbing Gold will collect and organize the highest quality climbing related information, narrative and entertainment on the SuperTopo Climber’s Forum.
As such, the goal is not to catalog every single thread or tr, but rather to mine the best 1-3% [or so] worth of climbing related threads and posts that this forum has to offer. To add your favourite hidden and not so hidden climbing related SuperTopo gems to these index threads, just post the thread, tr, or single post that made a significant impression on you, to any of the six threads and i'll keep [in time :)] compiling and making them clickable on the first post of the applicable threads.
There are only two rules and two instructions:
Rules: 1. no self-authored nominations

ok. the americans list was getting long and kinda ugly... so i reorganized based on decade of birth year. this was mostly done using google, so at this point many are not definitive. if i've screwed something up or for those that i couldn't find anything and just straight up guessed based on their contemporaries, feel free to either post up corrections here or email me at nah000 at hotmail dot com and i'll clean them up.

and i did one rare bit of editing regarding the Ron Fawcett suggestions: most of those threads were pretty bare and covered the same ground... while i usually don't make comment on what is and is not gold and just compile, i'm only going to post the meatiest of the Ron Fawcett threads for two reasons: i don't have time/interest in having these lists become exhaustive as the intent for these threads is to compile the info/story/convo that is compelling and unique... while that's a pretty grey charge, and in most cases i'm not here to enforce that, in this case those five threads started to become pretty lean and derivative... 99% of the time you find gold, Tarbuster, so know i'll only step in, if your exuberance is particularly egregious... :)
