Jane, you ignorant slut!
What happened to me? All that sushi and I gain 18 lbs. No wonder I got spanked on Dr. Rubo's Wild Ride.
ALL-IN!

Sorry Dood, I have sushi 3x's a week and about 7 bottles of vino, 7 scotches/cognacs, and the fatest steak I can find each week.
I would rather bike an extra 5 hours throughout the week than give up the wonderful food I love so much. Been at 180 for years and I'm 5'11".
Diet No way! Have more sex, bike more, climb more, but as a small business owner its easy. I went up to 200 lbs when I was self employed. So maybe a diet is in order. Good Luck!
Aloha,
wil

I gained 6 pounds since climbing slacked off. Does it count if I drink the water in the Third world and lose weight that way?

Is there some way I can enter, but have it be less than 10 pounds? If I lost ten pounds I'd be a skeleton, but I want to lose 6 lbs...

we have long argued that it should be a relative body mass loss thing. but the fat people don't want to let us skinny folk in that easy.

We've tried the % challenge before and it just doesn't work as well. We know that some of our "larger" participants have an advantage and tend to be in the winners pool, but it's a simple game guys.
Lose 10 pounds to win.
If you only want to lose 6 pounds or 2.65 pounds like Eurobrief or Jingy - start your own fag challenge or eat more.
If you're serious about joining and can follow the rules, email me direct and I'll put you on the list. Non-payers will be banned from any future games and hunted like a milk chocolate bunny.

Call it fag challenge, call it anything you want.
The bottom line is heavier people have an easier time losing a given amount of weight than lighter people.
Losing body weight percentage instead levels out the playing field.
My 2 cents

Aya, e-mail me if you want to do a 6 pound bet. I need to lose 6 or 8 to reach 160. Already lost about 25 last year. Suggested stakes - loser buys dinner \in New Paltz after day on the cliff. (I don't climb ice.)

i'm not really sure about euro brief guy's comment, but here are my thoughts on weight loss:
it's tough for anyone to lose weight. anyone who is doing so deserves to be commended.
first, you have to change your patterns and stop gaining weight to begin with. then, you have to start losing weight, which involves quite a bit more than simply maintaining and not gaining. keeping a food and exercise diary helps. it's best to not simply diet - you have to make eating healthfully and exercising a lifestyle. and to maintain longterm weight loss, you should shoot for around 2 pounds / week, even if it feels frustrating slow.
to maintain aerobic fitness, you only have to work out 3-4 times / week. to really lose weight, you pretty much need to work out every day. so, people who are losing weight, regardless of the size they are to begin with, are working harder than most people anyways.

I might be in for 4-6 lbs. How tall are you folks. Maybe we should all post up height and weight just for the motivation of public embarassment....

5'8" 130ish
4 weeks at 1% a week would give me 5lbs and a bit to lose, which is just about what I want.
