Is there a thread on this? I guess who cares, but I love crack boulder problems. I climbed for a long time with my kids at an obscure area in the Black Hills where there was high concentration of some really good ones. Also been to Butte and that area has tons. I have a few good ones in CO since moving here a couple years ago, but not found a place where there is a good concentration. Have seen pictures of areas in CA like woodson on ST and some look stellar. Anyway I rounded up a few pictures to get started. Nothing beats climbing one that feels just a little taller(or a lot)than what you feel like is a good idea. Obviously that limit is different for everyone.

I don't focus on bouldering, but I might need to seek out those last two next time I'm in the valley.

jbigi - that short little crack in Rocklin is like a mini Serenity, it's so hammered out. But dang it...it's a fun one!

There's a couple of nice roof cracks on this thread!

This is a recent problem I found and was fortunate enough to be there to video a friend on the FA.

Really the best thread EVER on Supertopo. I swear I will post a photo eventually, but gee I wonder if someone from Woodson (lucky wankers!) will post?

Herm, I've looked for that boluder near Olmstead point a half-dozen times now... Any beta on how to find it?

Contractor, awesome looking boulder! Where is it at?

EDIT: Also Mike M, where are your boulders at? People gotta give names and/or locations so we can chase em down ;)

bhorowitz-

It's one hill away from Woodson Proper and a 5 minute walk from the classic, Shirley.

Yours?

Saw this roadside boulder in a Utah national Park last week and slammed on the brakes. I had a sore foot so couldn't try it.

Thin hands to hands and 15 to 18 feet high.

Someone here must've done it; speak up!

Contractor; names are right there! Classic yosemite boulder problems! :)

More specifically:

Bachar Cracker is in the camp 4 boulders on the way up the Yosemite fall trails. Look for a sharp switchback about 3 minutes up the trail and look down the hill right at the switchback.

Cedar Eater is harder to find... Mt. Project has a description (https://www.mountainproject.com/v/cedar-eater-boulder/107264220); and there is a good description in the supertopo book.
