Sounds interesting. I would help but Boise is a bit far. Good luck with it. Might try finding some vertical cavers in the area.

I'm cheaper than Killary.

Check out the Boise Squirrelsuit Univeristy.
If you have 200 jumps, it will be economical to have them teach you to wingsuit. It's all about getting as close to the chicks as you can.
You'll be scraping the rocks in no time; and one of those chicks might just decide to hitch a ride in your cleavage.

1st year mortality for birds of prey is somewhere between 80 and 90%. Taking a chick from the nest ensures that this one will survive his/her first year. I've hunted with red-tailed hawks in the past. They live hard and die often, and all the negative comments on here are spoken from ignorance. Good falconers know they are helping the birds out, operate fully within the law, have the proper permits, etc. The birds fly free, can leave anytime they want to and are released back into the wild fat and skilled. I got into the field 3-4x a week with my hawks, sometimes for 4 hours a day, making sure they received as much exercise as possible. Not all of all us are like the extravagant arab falconers. My birds were hunting partners, not pets, not prisoners. All were released successfully.
