We all know that there are badass ladies out there placing gear way outside of the gym.

I wish I had some pictures of the great gals I've climbed with, stretching out the rope and going deep trad. Karine Croft and Cheri Richardson come to mind. I don't even know if Karine's climbing right now, but she was bad to the bone.

Can I get some pix?

Can I get an amen?

I haven't done any brazen leads. The hardest was that chimneyish climb in Indian Cove, Calcutta, but no pictures there, so here's me on High E,first pitch. I would probably cry to get out of leading this pitch these days, and P2 is out of the question, but at one time, I was willing(probably AM still able - just need to get back my mojo)

This is my favorite "limbs askew" photo of me, leading the crux of Crack Kingdom.

I remember this being a comfortable rest in the summer. Now it is winter, I am nice and plump, and that looks hard.

survival, I am a bit ashamed to admit how much lycra I already owned (1) without realizing it was trendy in the 80s, and (2) before it became trendy again.

At least you take photos, Mike! I'm sure you also have some dramatic photo of me soloing 5.2.

I just watched your video clip of me leading the glory-hands pitch of McTech Arete, and found this evidence of what an idiot/badass I am: stopping to wiggle my shoe mid-lead to try to take pressure off the toenail blood-blisters!

Cat T. Appreciation thread brah!

Grade V first ascent in the Sierra! Didn't she learn how to put on harness two days ago?!?! #craybrah

Shiet might as well do another new route, why not! (PS: this one had a second ascent and the guy who did it said he thinks it is one of the most aesthetic lines, amazing location for camping and a great climb!)

Alix on the Warrior!

Alix, I , Jim and Luke (after the Warrior)

Alix close to the top of the Nose. We took 2 nights on the wall after fixing to Sickle. Was our first time up it. In 2015 she did THE SALATHE WALL IN A DAY! AND did the nose IN A DAY (Under 10 hours or something ridiculous like that). She is currently on SAR and still climbs with wankers like me. :)

We had EPIC time

One of the most psyched humans out there before we climbed the West Face of El Cap in a day..

Females know how to keep things organized

How to be a good mule

They like to play with Cheburashka

How to operate sharp objects

And how to be great partners! (Amy and I on top of our FIRST EVER BIGWALL (Lost Arrow Spire Direct)

Cat and I :))

First climbing date with wifey...

She carries her share of the load on a camping trip:

And she can get it done.

Edit: And a shot from Conness. The ropes were for weight training only.

Yer such a tease, kitten!

Miss ya
My sass is in hibernation; I've spent the winter knitting socks and occasionally leading my can't-climb-at-all bf up 5.7s.

Um, too accurate. In that photo can you tell that I am carrying a yoga mat to sleep on, because when we did that route I had never been backpacking and didn't own a sleeping pad?! I also hiked in a goat cheese quiche and fresh fruit... #noob #noob #noob
