Ok.... some new meat has shown up in JT. A game might actually break out in the next few days/weeks. Who is here, who wants to be here, who is such a degenerate that they will drive here for a day filled with grain and a night filled with low pairs losing to suckout flushes????

If you are already on the list, (you know who you are) don't bend my ear anymore in this post.... in fact, the first test for a new player is you must email me and not post here. If you post here, it is a $5.00 fine if you ever show at a game.

And in the spirit of no hand holding..... Dirt... forget about it.

Russ,
since I have no chance to suck out a trip to so. cal, I will post here, wish I could play a game with some climber low-rollers, there's no belay when you're in there hoping against all odds to get one of the three cards that'll make yer hand. Are the stakes...interesting? or is it more of the let's yuck it up and play a few hands. With no more online poker, what's a dedicated degeneratum to do?

Inner: Low stakes unless you are a DIRTBAG (see other thread). Usually a $20 buy in for 100chips.... Hold'em goes at 1 -2, so that is 20cent 40 cent. Sounds pretty low, but guys routinely tank it for like $60 - $80 on the night. Usually no-limt for the last hour or so cleans out the timid. But, it usually comes with a free BBQ, open bar, and all the shiit talking you can muster, so the value is pretty high.

As for waiting on those 3 cards.... it's either 7:1 after the flop or 14.33 : 1 with just the river to come.... not that I'd know ;)

Awww now Russ, try being a little more open minded!

As for poker, a few weeks ago I got 4th place in an online free roll with 11,000 people in it, but then more drugs and chemo claimed all my winnings in short order, LOL.

I REALLY can't play very well with all these drugs.

So you guys are playing limit holdem? I've noticed that most people play really stupidly in limit. They just stay in a hand with nothing hoping to suck out, and they don't recognise the small raises as serious, even if you raise every chance you get.

I can vouch for many a home game at Mussy's. No river dwellers here, save for maybe one or two.....then they go on tilt when they poot out after multiple rebuys!

EuroHuggers is right..... getting all your money in while you have the best of it never works over here...... The suckout rules, and then let the TILT begin! REBUY!

I have firmed up my dates for being in the neighborhood. I'm gonna head out the 17th or 18th and return to Flagstaff on Turkey day.

I'm in.... ALL-IN of course. Trudeau is also making the trip but he's not much of a player. I asked Dr. Bloom - he's interested but needs to check on his work schedule. Watch out for that guy - he'll suck you out all the way and donk his three outter on the river. Or... he'll bet it likes he's got it (tough in limit).

Depending on how many games we can get together I'd like to play a tourney.

There will be a SushiFest™ at least one night.

oops... just read the stinkin' rooles... guess I owe you five bucks.

out drinking us is one thing, out sucking us out is a whole 'nother level.

What's the plan for the candyman?

Wish I could stay for that weekend but it doesn't look good. Am hoping beyond hope to have a cater or two.

When *will* five be a field number, sir?

Ummm... I can say with a clear conscience that I have not "out sucked" anyone, totally due to lack of trying of course. Not sure if I want that sucking trophy in my case......

What I hate is a suck out who goes in with the hand odds 4-1 against em but the pot odds at 1-1 and then they think they made a good play and yak it up.

And then there is the guy who lets you stay in cheap and when you hit your flush or straight and rape him he claims you misplayed.
