cool video.

it seems uncouth to show all that footage of him essentially camping at the summit of el cap...

That changing corners footage was awesome. So cool to see many of those moves.

I liked the summit camping footage. It showed that part of the challenge is the mental difficulties to deal with the uncertainty, loneliness, work, boredom, etc.

I wonder how much of the filming he did himself.

I liked the summit camping footage too. Found myself rooting for the guy partly because of it. Thanks!!

High level of climbing and I get the lure of the objective, but I don't necessarily get the appeal of extensive headpointing on pre-placed pro with lavish tick-marking.

Yo....if you know exactly where the divot is and get your palm of your right hand just so, thumb pointed down, you can bring the changing corners down to 13c.

Enter the Cubist inspired Changing Corners from the left by swinging into the space between the right facing corner and thin air. Chimney at any width that fits your style. Most climbers put their feet against the corner wall and everything else pushing against...well, so do I put this...nothing? Church Bowl +.

Cool video

Ah man, it was nothing but a sport clip-up! In the changing corners, all he had to do was to clip pre-placed pro. What kind of an accomplishment was that?

In all seriousness though, multiple times I found my leg muscles tensing up something fierce! To the point where I was rising up, out of my armchair!

That was awesome! I really liked that guy and I was totally rooting for him, even though I knew the outcome! Well done video and very inspiring.

Wow, that was great!

I seriously had a knot in my stomach when he was struggling through the changing corners.

Thanks for posting up.

Yeah that changing corners is just freaking ridiculous..I just started giggling thinking how unlikely those entry moves looked....So cool watching it go.

Enjoyed the whole vid..good vibes..low key but resolute!

I just rewatched the Changing Corners pitch and noticed at the end, when Jorg was on top, how skinny his arms are. It reminds me that Nose all-free is just off-the-charts technical.

Here is a video of Lynn climbing the Nose in 94. At about 5:00 shows the great roof followed by the Changing Corners.[Click to View YouTube Video]

I could not find any videos of Tommy or Beth climbing the Changing Corners.

How much work did Lynn put into freeing the Changing Corners pitch?
