I'm interested in visiting this area. In fact, we were planning on it this October, but not sure if it's still a go...

Damn! I'm pretty sure that I've never even thought about counting up to 2700. Might be a good bed-time resource for insomnia.

I know Bobbi Bensman liked climbing there. Never been and had no clue that there could be so many routes.
Good luck with your book.

if people wanted to hike (or use a chopper) there could be 10 times as many routes. I know Eric works hard on this guide so I'm stocked this project is published.

Thanks for the well wishes. The mile marker issue is fixed unless they move them again!

I've climbed several times at Mt. Lemmon and enjoyed it immensely.....it's been a few years. I'll likely get the book to renew my stoke for a return visit!

I love it there although getting from the freeway across town to the climbing is a pain in the ass. Could someone provide a clickable link?
Edit:
I guess not.

I'll have to get a copy, since I never got the 2nd.
Nice cover shot!! The author on Pitfalls? One of the most exposed climb... like being 1000' up
And a real question, how many drill bits have you worn out in the last 30 years?
And fix that funny typo on the cover (after I get a rare 1st printing)

Eric,
Thanks for the great effort and the pre-publication announcement. My order is in to you. I have never climbed there and surprisingly I do not have your previous editions in my collection (I am a guidebook collector). I look forward to receiving the guidebook and planning a trip to climb there.

If Eric's topos of Cochise are and indication....the guidebook should be spectacular!
For those who haven't climbed there....great cragging on quality, featured granite.

I haven't bought it yet but I leafed through it at the gym. Looks very professional with lots of great color photos and constructed well.
A step above the previous additions and worth purchasing for sure.
Thanks Eric.

I have loved all the climbing I've done there. It's great because my friend is a local and knows where everything is, what weather conditions dictate which cliff etc. so it's just pure fun.
Now that I'm retired I need to get out there more often.
Thanks for all your hard work!

It's a great guide(!!!)and a long time coming.
In reference to a typo mentioned above...
should it be "lemmonade"?
And as far as the number of drill bits...
take the number from the past week alone, multiply by 52, then multiply by 30...
then add a few for a conservative estimate :-)
Thanks for everything EFR!
ps: EFR- above poster "Phylp" is friends with Joe S. (JSn). Get your butt out here!
