Nice,
You are generally quite a monogamous climber based on that timeline. Quite honourable!!
My list would triple yours and I've only just been climbing ten years, I'm such a ho!!

I must say, I'm surprised that this thread didn't take. After 44 years of being climber, I'd have to say my memories are mostly about my climbing partners. I think about the Kinley Adams/Bruce Adams/Rick Piggott years or the Tom Gibson/Rob Rohn/George Manson years or the Clare Dunning or Clean Dan years. That's how I anchor my personal climbing history. I got a strong pack animal sensibility or something I guess.

Well, I was going to throw down. But you said through the years, not months. I started actually climbing (today I guess that would be called "trad"), as opposed to toproping and bouldering, January 25, 2014. That is when I met Mark Ott on a meetup in Joshua Tree and we did Walk on the wild side. Both of being mostly german and loving Irish whisky, we hit it off from the start. About 6 weeks later after burning out on being cheese grated in Joshua tree cracks, Mark had me do my first lead(WOTWS) the next day. I had a great time and needless to say, Mark and WOTWS now have a special place in my memories. Looking forward to more great times Mark, and more Jamasons and Tullamore Dew.

My first climbIng partner Andrew. We learned how to stay alive the hard way.
Jersey Paul has always been my Black Canyon buddy.
Steph is the best rope gun ever.
Climbed El Cap with this guy for our first time roping up.
Linus is the man.
Icky Eric has always been good for some ADHD adventures.
Marie and I got in a gob of towers last year. More to come I'm sure.
The crotchety and crusty Bleeder has been one of my longest standing partners.
Chill has been another longtime partner of mine.
Good ol' Verm is always a good partner.
Can't forget the Hankster and Bun Bun.
There are many more. I'll add on when I get a chance.

This is a good topic. It is important in these things that we do to have another soul with whom to meditate on, with whom to inebriate about, with whom we celebrate those small magical things on the rock.
The ant busy amongst the vertical crystals way off the deck. The raspberries ripe on the ledge. The badly abraded sheath that still held the core intact. No one else would really get it without them.
Best damn Jack-Mormon I ever did know. We been through some sticky situations, and we're still looking for trouble out there in the great sandy freedom beyond the pavement.
Admiral Grungebunny: I tried to set up a TR for him his first time out, only to find him up top when I got around. He's in the great wild beyond of the Pataguch right meow. Yes that is a bicycle helmet.
This guy, y'know, the one who shat his pants on more than one first date:
This woman climbs harder than me without shoes on her feet. I love her (besides the fact that she is quick and strong and way better at managing the fear than me).

Wesley Davis (Little brother) 2001-2004
Mom 2001-present (holdin' it down)
Robbie something - 2003-2004 (?? where's this guy??)
Tyler Dapron - 2006-2008 (Stopped climbing)
Trevor Schumaker - 2007-2009 (married/moved)
Lucas Dunn - 2009-2013 (passed away)
Sunrise Rickard - 2011-Present
Lloyd Petrungaro - 2012-2013/14 (college)
Keith Kastama - 2013-2014 (college)
Nick Fitzpatrick 2014-present
Each partner went their seperate way, few still climb. Looking back it appears I find young talent, spend weeks and weeks of our time catching them up to where I'm at, then they either leave or quit climbing and I'm stuck finding another. Some day I'll find someone who actually likes rock climbing and won't quit once a pretty girl swings by...

Just outta high school, Kenny Rose took me to Courtright and showed me the dark arts. Still love climbing and hanging with Kenny
Brandon McLemore, "I'm f*#king down for whatever" attitude has been nothing but pure fun. Laughs and laughs, one of the best. My main partner, my brother Jeremy. We taught ourselves how to put up routes and are both still here.
Cam Donnahoo, pretty cool to work for someone, who you can go climb with.
Kevin Ludwig, pure comedy and fun. Acts like he can't climb, but has done way more than I ever will.
Eric Palmer, been fun the last couple years climbing and hanging with one of my best childhood friends.
Grahm Doe, spent so many hours putting up routes with Grahm. He is a machine, sun up to sun down.
Barry Chambers, the master resoler. Damn good climber and always cool to talk climbing with.
Hansel Heiss, grew up and made it through our partying days together. A natural climber and one of my lifelong friends.
Matt Schutz, strong, humble, and climbed El Cap in his early teens. Has put up a ton of stuff, but always stoked on whatever he's climbing
Tom Slater, again nothing but laughs and fun. Great photographer too.
My dog adu has been everywhere with me. She even has a wall named after her.
I am lucky to have experienced it all with these guys and dog. Climbing wouldn't be the same without them.

Well, I would have to say the only guy who I've climbed with, of and on, for over 45 years, is Jim Donini. All the others have pretty much retired from the sport, or I just don't connect with them anymore. I did the Salathe Wall with Jim, back in 1971, and was with him in Yosemite this past Spring, for a week.Jim's been a great partner, over the years.

I like the idea of your post, Greg.
Without elaboration on each partner, here's my line-up. All dates should have an "-ish" at the end:
1975-80 - brother, John Patterson (RIP)
1975-77 - Al Hopp
1977-82 - David Hersey
1982-present - little brother Keith
1985-89 - Dan Zazvorka
1993-2004 - Chris Allen, Dave LaFlamme, Josh Gilger, Tom Stargaard
2004-present - Keith Patterson, Trevor Reed, Jeremy Rasor, Micky Bates, sometimes even Ghost!
Feeling rich!

It is rare to find a climber as stoked on climbing as I am. Ettore and I taught ourselves the craft and are still pulling on the rocks together, several years later.
Powder is not only one of the most perfect, patient, knowledgeable and fun partners, but has also showed me a lot of amazing places up in Tuolumne and beyond, and I feel like my technique/footwork gets better every time I climb with her.

Mooser, reading your post made me think of a regular climbing partner that I forgot to include in my (original) list - Dave Hersey. Sheesh, how could I forget my Dave Hersey partnership!
