A fun video of Adam casually strolling up a bunch of grit classic testpeices like Masters Edge. Big Thangs in that kids future, as in physically big...

Ever notice how many of these wunderkid comp killers have seriously long necks? Like they have some giraffe DNA going or something.

Seriously, check out a pic of world cup podium sometime. They're all like 5'6", with a 2' neck. You know what they say, "long neck, long...time screaming like a wounded racoon when you fail the send the gnar, brodizzle"

EDIT: Here's a visual aid.

"Yo yo yo, check it. Der I was crushin the pebbs for sheezy, nek minute...oh shitz I done strained ma nek".

That's cool, I didn't know he could climb 5.12.

I also didn't know they considered Hubble to be in the Peak District.

Hope to see him do more climbing in different styles in the future.

Raven Tor has always been in the Peak District. Itīs about as in the middle as you can get.

Just got off the phone with Adam and he said they don't make crack climbs hard enough for him.

Liked the reference to Czech climbing. Some style seems to stay in fashion, at least where climbing resources are limited.

Are there any local guides, anywhere, that tell stories, demonstrate old techniques/climbs, gear?; as well as point clients towards their "goals"? Might make for an interesting day.

"Half dome day", "El Cap day"; 50's ascents day, 60's ascents day, local flora, vulgarian re-enactments, etc?

I agree the WL. Gritstone, those it uses natural pro, does not seem "trad" to me. Let see Ondra tackle changing corners or the great roof. Though I don't doubt he could get it if he really wanted it.

Changing Corners is bolted, Great Roof is usually fixed - failing to see your point.

Yeah, it would probably take him several seconds to figure out the exotic
techniques required.

If you're not being snarky, I agree, it's always a joy to see great climbing.

I would say most people on this forum want to see him fail miserably - on the Nutcracker.

Since having this pointed out I have started working in some " neck-lengthening" exercises into my daily work-outs.
