Thanks for the interest . We climbed it on Independence day. From the beginning Chad was volunteer for Trip Report and week ago we communicated via email and he was close to finish report soon. So it is coming.. and there is no need for me to duplicate his efforts especially he has all photos and I have zero photos. I also want to see this great route again. Just for comparison same team 3 years ago climbed Asrtoman in 9 hours and now Basket case took 10 hours . Go figure what is harder? Approach is definitely harder for Basket. We did not find any fixed gear on the route ( no bolts, pitons or slings, no human traces at all).
The route is superb quality. Not all, but : pitch 2 , Pitch 5(crux), Pitch 6 ( second crux) and pitch 7.
After first 5 pitches Reid topo do not represent reality, or we were completely perplexed.
I updated Basket Case on mountain project.
Those two Basket Case stories with Luke's links by Jim Donini and Peter Haan was very inspirational for me to be motivated .
Stay tuned for "Up rope, I am not moving 2"

Alexey when you and Chad actually post your TR, establish an entirely new thread, one of your own.

Good to hear that something is in the work.
I saw on MP.com that you said doubles to #5 camalot and a single #6. That is a massive rack.
The big cams are mostly for the crux pitches, right? Lot of weight to hump up there!

I guess that's a big rack.... munge, you still got that other #6 for sale? I think the last one got absorbed in a domestic squabble...

Sorry guys, I've been too busy... Climbing!
...And my computer died along with my photos and a half written TR. I'm in the process of recovering them now.
Couple all that with my growing lack of interest in posting anything to this politically driven site and I'm really having a hard time dedicating any time to the effort at all.

C'mon, the internet, like real life (case in point ^^^), is full of minor annoyances. Your TR about that long route on Cal dome was a big highlight of recent years. Don't dissappoint us fans, please!
