Woodfords Canyon, CA (One of These Days parking area)
Place to stay for the night?
Available (my house, maybe camping too)
Food?
A whole pig! Shawn's donation. Thank you!
Money?
Please donate some(?) for the pig (the money will actually go towards Don's Woodfords guide. Awesome Shawn!)
Drink?
Yes. Bring your favorite.

Hello Fellow Woodfords Climbers,
I would like to join the festivities on May 25th. Besides rope, dope, gear, and beer what should I bring? I was thinking firewood and food. What type of food should i bring?

Yeah Dan, I've been up there that's not bad and there's plenty of options for people to camp minutes away.

Awesome guys that its finally coming together. 25th is great. Ill arrange for the pork and beans and cook em up. Anything else ill leave up to you guys. Head count ASAP so I know how much to get. I plan on cooking the pig/pork above ground in a "pit" that I make. We just need to find a place now to circle the wagons and do it

I would start cooking Friday night to have it ready for late Saturday.

I believe so Ron. It's by where the old cabin used to be. I hope I can get my 7x14 cargo trailer up there to get all my cooking stuff there.

Sounds like we may have quite a few people a coming. Which is great!!!!! Whichever spot can handle the most people with parking and camping etc would be great. Ill get my trailer up wherever it needs to go to get the food and camp set up.
Thanks for checking that spot Kenny. Ill try to head up there in the next week or so and check it out and Ill throw my 2 cents in for "Place O Pig" Will need a little head count soon to get the pig ordered.
Looking forward to this.........FYI it always freaking snows on this weekend.......

Wood-fest......I didn't name it.
Better than Pecker-fest I guess.
Ill have at least one gal with me that the "wood" can oogle at. She may kick your ass though.......
